This is the Alamo in San Antonio, TX - awesome TX history here - very interesting place. We also got the chance to visit Cornerstone Church pastored by John Hagee while we were in San Antonio - it was an awesome service. Blessings!!

Well at least spitfire they aren't selling anything inside the Alamo. I mean just move the camera one inch and there is ad some place, besides the restaurants across the street and a mall on the corner. Believe or not in the space of 5 years I saw the Alamo a 1000 times. Don't forget govt money is going to those missions which should be illegal.

It does seem weird to see the entire city built around the Alamo! But they have ordinances in San Antonio that require that all structures may not cast a shadow on the Alamo.

Rhonda - Pastor John is great man of God for sure.

Fun - it did seem strange to me that the Alamo was downtown too - I thought it would be out in the country somewhere - like Tombstone.

Corrie - I didn't know about that ordinance. Couldn't believe it was downtown either.
