Even as the breeze of the night falls across my face
I search for You Lord
With the new heart You have created in me
Forever - forever more

The rain passed - the ground moist
A chill in the air
But the warmth of Your breath in my heart
Keeping the light ever glowing

You give me strength Lord
Strength to go on
Strength to move on
Strength to keep going
When circumstances call me to die
When deception comes
Strong and ever present
A constant fight - a battle even in the night
Your strength keeps me steady Lord
Your hand keeps me on the right path
Don't let me waver Lord
I know there is no turning back
Way too late for that
Although the temptation is there
The easy path - the deadly path
With no life - Your Spirit gone
No way - I'm not going back
I'm moving forward
In Your love
Your love sustains me
Your breath sustains me
Your very heartbeat sustains me
And gives me life and the will to keep living

Whisper to me My Lord
I will go - I will go

Your heart Lord
What is Your heart for me
What would my heart be without You
You are my life - my heart

Hey Glo - I'm so glad you stopped by to read my poem and glad it touched you. I haven't been spending as much time on BC as usual - still around - just not as much - so much ugly stuff going on and so many good friends have left - just doesn't seem as fun/good as it used to be. Glad you are still here tho Glo. I appreciate you more than you know!! Blessings in abundance!!
