A repost from June 2006: I know most of you have heard about ‘Agape’ love or the divine love of God towards man which involves God doing what He knows is best for man and not necessarily what man desires. Hm-m-m!! That will make you think – huh? I’ve often wondered of late – how deep is God’s love towards me? And the only answer I came up with was “I don’t know – how deep?” which isn’t really an answer at all but another question – a question that caused me to do some digging.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Eph 3:18-19 (NLT) “May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
I am here to tell you from personal experience that God’s love contains everything you need – it will sustain you – it brings provision and life – both spiritual and physical – it brings healing and freedom – and peace and comfort in the midst of a storm and so much more than this post could ever contain. So again I ask you – how deep is God’s love for you? I think it’s an intensely personal question – I think each person would give a different answer based on their personal experience of God’s love in their life. So think about it – how would you answer this question? Then consider sharing that experience with someone – you never know how it will affect their life - someone is waiting for you to tell them about God’s love.
Blessings to all of you!!

Whether you have gone up to the top of His mountain, or fallen to the bottom of the bottomless pit, was He not yet there with you?
Sometimes for what ever reason we do not reach out to Him.
We do not bother to turn around.
Fear.
He will be with us till the end of the age.
He will stick closer than a brother.
Is His Spirit not already within us?
Close enough?
Know?
Yes?
?
.
. Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you.
This time is short, serve Him well, serving all.
Without exception.
Know?
Yes?

Marilyn, I don't think I could even put into words the depth of His love and what it means for me! It's when He carries me those times I am hurting, He holds me and pours love over me, He rejuvenates me with love when I am tired...and when life is going well, His love is my joy and I am filled with gratitude to Him!

The rain decided to come on its own, it jumped the gun. Hopefully it will stop and not rain again until later. But either way we have rain covers to put up just for times like this. Like they say, "the show must go on". Have a super day and God bless.
