I agree: Less Talk(Typing) : More Prayer. An Invitation!!!!!

Father, in Jesus' Name, I am agreeing with my brothers and sisters here as they voice their most sincere prayers in behalf of this BC community. Your Word says in James 5:16 that we are to confess our sins to one another and pray also for one another that we may be healed and restored to a spiritual tone of heart and mind, for the effectual, fervert prayer of a righteous person makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.

Lord, I ask that You bring healing where there have been hurts and reconciliation where the enemy has caused division. I come against the spirit of strife, spiritual witchcraft, arrogance, and every work of the enemy that has manifested itself in our midst. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to bring conviction wherever its needed and to work as only You can work.

I thank You for so many on BC who have brought so much encouragement to me in the months I've been here. Not only have I met my wonderful David here, but I have been blessed to have met and developed very special friendships with many others, as well. And I pray for each and every one of them now. Let this be a place of comfort, encouragement, enjoyment, and healing--both physical and emotional--wherever its needed.

And Lord, I know we aren't all ever going to agree on our various doctrines and interpretations of Your word. So, I ask for special grace to be given to each of us to thoughtfully consider before adding our posts and comments...to check our motives...to listen for Your "amen" before publishing what we have to say. And if any one of us fails to do that--and surely we will, whether on purpose or just ignorantly--then may your grace and healing mercy cover us.

Bind us together in the spirit of peace as only You can, Lord. Thank You!

I was just thinking that today that Christians can be friends and best of buddies too despite doctrinal differences..

Heavenly Father - How can we not praise You - You are so worthy, worthy, worthy of our praises - no matter what circumstances we are in - teach us to walk by faith and not by sight - teach us to love like you love - give us grace to forgive - teach us also to receive forgiveness from others - heal our broken hearts Lord - heal our broken emotions - heal our wounded spirits as we open them up to You - so many contagious, infected wounds in this place we call BC - but it's not too big a job for You to heal - so Lord I place these wounded people in Your mighty hands - teach them to let go of their past pain - bring joy and peace that passes all understanding into each life - breathe Your very life into each one of Your children here. Peace be still. Start with me Lord. I plead the Blood of Jesus over each one of Your children here and ask You to place a hedge of protection around them. satan you have no authority here - I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus. Thank You Lord for all You are doing in this place and all that You plan to do in this place - let Your Glory reign in this place we call BC. In Jesus Name - Amen

Oh Father God, the Most High, the Creator of the universe, the One who holds the world and all that is within, HELP US! I see blood, so much blood everywhere, blood flowing from the wounded hearts. Hearts that not have been wounded by the enemy but by the very brothers and sisters we are commanded to love as You love us. Send Your precious Holy Spirit to bind up these wounds in Jesus name. And with that cord that You use to bind up these wounds bind us together, as one as You and the Father are One. You in us and us in You. Father heal the wounds from all the past hurts that cause us to lash out and hurt each other. Forgive us our trespasses and give us Your forgiveness so that we may forgive those who trespass against us. We surely need the forgiveness that only comes from You. For in us is no good thing. We forgive our brethren today and then cut them to shreds tomorrow. Father we need You! We need the peace that goes beyond all human understanding. The peace that only You can give. Holy Spirit flood this place with Your glory. Cause every knee to bow before You, the one true God, in repentance. Fill our hearts with love, love for You and the ones You have sent us as brethren. Keep a rein on our tongues Lord, let only words that glorify You come out of our mouths from this day forward. In Jesus holy name I pray, Amen.
