Should I have a bowl of ice cream before going to bed?

Please no fake votes I know who you are.

I'm reading between the lines here...just how would Baskin Robbins define sarcasm in terms of flavor? Some may enjoy it first-hand or even vicariously; and others just might find it distasteful.

What kind of ice cream?

It could take a couple of years to decide, and then two more years to be certain!

Though I would vote NO! You could run the risk of waking up with the flux!!

Don't do it, Tom!

You just might find out suddenly you're lactate-intolerant the same way I just recently this week found out I am dung-intolerant!

Skip the dairy milk, dude.

Here, try some meat!

Now what?

Hi Tom!

I say, GO FOR IT!!! I had a pumpkin blizzard last night before going to bed, lol. Alan had choco cherry. Live dangerously! Jesus came so that we could have life and have it in abundance, to the full, until it overflows!
PS What flavor would you have if you did have it?
God bless you!

Ice cream that has a sarcastic flavor ....

I'm not sure of the flavor yet, but I am sure it will be contemptuously delicious.

How about a bowl of ice cream with a little brandy as a tipping sitting next to a roaring fireplace? Wont that keep you warm?

That sounds a little bit warmer, but still not a very good sell. During the cold season, all my drinks are hot, absolutely all of them, except maybe milk and water. Now there are different ways to keep warm. One of them is not ice cream.

So have you ever heard about deep fried ice cream? Yep. Battered and deep fried and then refrozen. It's interesting to say the least and sells for a pretty penny in select restaurants.

"Some" is OK! But he talks about "a bowl", and he didn't say how big it was!
How many bowls in one barrel?

I'm kinda thinking that size.

Hi JustMe506,

Dill pickles taste great with everything! ! !

I love dill pickles wrapped in honey ham and cream cheese, especially the big Claussen dill pickles.

Depending on how much "some" is... For me it was finishing off a 5 qt. container of Vanilla I've had for a couple weeks. Which I'd estimate to be about 3/4 of a cup. But I think I deserved it because I been a good boy the last few days.

I had my first colonoscophy yesterday, for which I began preparing for several days earlier then what was called for. I actually began the low residue diet Sunday, which I was instructed to start on Tuesday. By mid day on Tuesday, I was on the clear liquids that normally would have begun the next day. I was taking no chances of not having everything through my system and it worked quite well.

So by last night I was ready to treat myself to some ice cream. I've decided to stay on a pretty much liquid fast for another 10 days, with an occasional bit of solids just to keep things moving through.
Like the kid's size roast beef sandwich I had today. Normally that meal would have been a half pound hamburger, a large fry and a chicken sandwich, so I think I'm doing pretty good so far.

I had to look this Bodine up. But no, I don't think I have ever seen it. Imdb had only five pictures, and no one showed any bowl. At least now, with Hisglory77's explanation, I would say it is NOT that big as I thought. Could we say 2 cups?

After all one barrel would be ca. 192 liters or 42 U.S. gallons!!

Wow, a half pound hamburger?? That's biiiiig!! LOL! Plus all the other things? You need to read some books by Dr. Oz.

Well, I hope all is well with your " : ", but be gentle with it. Eat lots of fibers, olive oil, not much fried food, low fat meats, fruit, vegetables, etc... and less sugar. Things that are always recommended for better health.

Btw, I found out that 5 quart is exactly 20 cups (ca. 4.7 liters). Here they normally sell containers of 1-2 liters, so about 1 cup or less it's a normal portion.

Best thing a newlywed couple can do is enjoy ice cream together.

Once a week I stop off at the neighborhood ice cream shop and try a different flavor. I got to say Amaretto Cherry is about the best.

Hope your Honey Moon goes on and on and on .........
