Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your grief and your suffering in pregnancy and the pangs of childbearing; with spasms of distress you will bring forth children. Yet your desire and craving will be for your husband, and he will rule over you. Here we see God telling Adam and Eve the result of the curse that was to come because of their sin. From the time of creation it was never met for man to rule over women. This was the result of the curse. They were made Equal. Genesis 1:26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. This scripture says let them, not let him. So the curse was that he would rule over her but she would constantly be reaching and striving for equality with him because that is how she was created to be, equal with the man. Her striving comes from him not treating her as an equal; again this is the result of the curse. Galatians 3:13 Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified); Through Jesus we have been redeemed from that curse. However many have not had their mind renewed from the curse. Many Christian men complain because their wife is not submissive, many women have a distorted idea of a godly wife. They think they have to ask their husband for permission before they can go ahead with things. That is not scriptural. As a single woman in my quest to be a godly wife to my future husband I began to change myself into this type of women when the Holy Spirit corrected me by taking me to the scriptures and showing what a godly woman is. He gave the revelation of the Five Fold Wife, (article posted on the Single but not Alone” page). But still I was trying to be that little wife that would jump at his command. That was short lived I never would have survived… I thank God for the Holy Spirit. I was off the mark big time. Apostle Paul powerfully spoke on this in Ephesians 5:21 Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). This passage brings it all in balance for me. Through Christ we are equal. Christ came to restore us back to the way it was before the fall. I will never ask my husband for permission as he will never ask me but I will ask him for his agreement or blessing as I expect him to do as well. And I will follow his counsel because he treats me with respect by submitting to me in my strengths and honoring me as his equal counter part. We will follow each other as we lead each other. |

I Cor 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. I Cor 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

good reflections,I`m not sure how these scriptures relate to the point bowflexteecia was making ? I do believe that we should submit to christ in one another,wither male or female.("...in christ there is neither..."). I often think that christian men get subjection mixed up with sub mission and use the scriptures to back up their view. I don`t know whats worse;a hen pecked husband or a brow beaten wife. Neither should exist in a christian partnership. God Bless Stevie. All of God's (Elohim's) children are created in God's image and likeness, male and female. The so-called curse is a belief introduced after the mist of darkness Genesis 2:6 that claims a second creation of the tribal God Jehovah in the creation of Adam's mortal race. Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. If you know what is what, Do you know who is who? In Genesis 1 in the 26th verse There's a man never a taint' of a curse. But in Genesis 2 in verse number seven There's a dust man conceived... He'll never see heaven. So it really comes down To which one you will claim, What thou see'st thou be'st... So what is your name? There they both stand. Which one is you? Is it immortal man one, Or mortal man two? If you're immortal man You know what you're worth. For according to law You'll inherit the earth, But if you're just a mortal And made out of dust... Is there anything to you That's worthy of trust? No, the thing they call man In Genesis 2 Is the dream of the dreamer. It never was you. So know what you are.
