Reality Can Be Too Painful

When the going gets tough, sometimes people find out they are not tough enough to get going but they freak. I feel life is way bigger than we can handle. We have two choices. WE can find reality and conform or we can lash out and create our own world no matter who we hurt, ourselves included.

Recent headline events show people making either choice. It has taken me much, if not most of my life, to find some semblance of reality. Religion hints at reality. What is reality for you?

Hi Richard!

Thought-provoking question, lol.

Reality for me is accepting that whatever comes my way, I can handle because it first went across God's desk for approval. Even if I feel I am unable, I know that I am able through Him. It is also accepting that in order for there to be good (God), there also has to be evil (satan). When bad things happen in the world, I understand the source and have full confidence that God can and will turn it around for good, if we will allow it. Living in that reality gives me the confidence to continue on, no matter what the circumstances. It has taken me most of my life too, to get to this place. NOTHING that happens, happens for NOTHING!!
God bless you!

yess, I believe your reality starts at the right place. That is where my reality begins too. I really do feel sorry for people and the country as we go through these present times. This is such a big subject, its hard to know where to even begin to comment, so I just kept it short. But, Scripture says the starting place for wisdom is where we started.
