Hi Holly, I'm ok with 4 and agree mostly with Gismo. I think in a marriage and I think this will come off as paternalistic to you, I do 'expect' a man to be able to provide..Its nice to know someone feels that way about their family (you know wants to provide). I would say though something my father told me why I got an horribly expensive education.. was that he never wanted me to depend on a man.. He meant you know be trapped in a terrible marriage and not be able to escape because I could not support myself so I think yes Men please provide but if it all goes horribly wrong I can save myself and my family if I need to. I am quite a creative person and dont mind making money because I like to be able to give away and to the people I love and I would expect the same of a man in my life... I realise this may offend other groups.. take for example men doing missionary work in poor countries. I wonder though if it is mutually exclusive to have a business brain and a missionary brain. I am willing to hazard a guess that these people in poorer countries could also do with some help on how to provide for themselves. I personally dont think they are mutually exclusive and men can provide and lead in that area in most walks in life not just in marriage. Just my little opinion though #5 I'm with you here.. I know character comes first and no amount of chemistry will make up for poor character (learnt that the hard way LOL ) but I hope to get both a lot of chemistry and a lot of character. Just my thoughts Take care and God Bless Love Cath
