I'm a hugger  I love hugging -- I even give hug lessons to kids that don't know how to hug - ha. I have a few friends that aren't huggers and I totally respect that. One of my closest friends tells me she loves my hugs cuz they make her feeled so loved and that not any of her other friends can hug her like I do. I agree with lahli - hugs with opposite sex should be appropriate off to the side hugs and not full hugs. Our pastor just touched on this at church.  "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." -Mark 12:30-31

I am a hugger but only with people I know and love or care about. I don't like receiving "unsincere" hugs and so don't give them. There are a few people in my past I wish I would have hugged or hugged more. GBY! LYS! And HUGS!! May God Bless You in ABUNDANCE

Side hugger with men...usualy not married tho. I don't usualy have married brothers wanting to either. It's different in different churches, but here most married men don't hug..except if ya really know them, and it's sideways. And I like that. BUT... I love to get hugs from any sisses! It's like the only physical contact I had for almost 8 yrs. It's tough when you have NO physical contact with other human beings. Ya get depressed. So if ya were here, I'd hug ya real good Chrissy! for those that are "catuious abouthugging single peoe, you shouldnt be! We are brothers ansister in christ, so if anything were to happen, that would be !

Wendles, I agree! There have been times that I have had a woman hug me, then turn around only to tell me, "dont talk to me!" Beleive me, I felt like I was !
