It has been a week! Blessings and challenges. We pick up my daughter at the airport today for a memorial service. My daughter's half sister passed away at age 45 from cancer. Many of that family drink-so I know it will be a drinking/crying time. Not too many from my X-husbands family are saved. My Grandchildren will be going so we are praying that the Lord will protect all proceedings. I will be focusing on the book I am writing and will be back to school this week as well. Then there is my SEO. Search engine optimization work. So busy. A blessing to share is that we bought a new car! A 2008 Equinox. Very beautiful and fun to drive. It is all wheel drive so we can get around well enough in the snow! My first brand new car! An interesting story: My daughter took my picture when I was at her store visiting. As we looked at it, I asked her, "Do you see that cross?" She looked and answered, "Yes." Then she looked at me and exclaimed, "you're not wearing your cross!" We called over my young daughter and asked her to describe my jewelry and clothes and guess what? Yes, she described my cross necklace! We asked a few strangers in the store too, and they saw it. The picture is on my cell phone, so I will post it hopefully, this week. It is not a tan line either. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Many blessings to all. A brand new 2008 car - wow - I know it's nice to have new things!! And I love your cross necklace too - what a great story!! I too am praying and praising God - regardless of curcumstances or challenges that might rage around me - Jesus holding my hand the whole while!! Blessings Rhonda!! Wow! A brand new car! I've never had a brand new one either. Don't worry about the grand kids......they have angels all around them. Love to you and Ed Lord, keep one hand on my shoulder and one hand over my mouth!

OH WOW a BRAND NEW CAR.... I have NEVER ever hardly even ridden in a new car much less owned one!!! So happy for you!!!! Sorry about the loss of family member though.

Wow... I had to read it several times too... Huh? Are you really saying that on the pic your daughter took (that same day), one can see the cross necklace, but you didn't wear it on you when she actually took the picture???
