I am rejoicing and praising God for the man we have prayed for has decided to follow Jesus! It was completely out of the blue on his end, not something he had been thinking about but instead, was sudden- dramatic- and sure.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
I remember when I was ministering to a very dear lady and friend. Her X boyfriend showed up whom she was in love with but he was a drinker and carouser and far from the Lord. He broke into her apartment so I ended up calling the police. Within 24 hours I went to my friends apt. and there he sat-touched by God- my friend was still not saved and she was very suspicious about his "change". I told him I had called 911 on him and he cried and said, "that's ok", then proceedeed to tell me about how the Lord had grabbed him! On the side of the road through a religious tract! There was no doubt in my mind that the Holy Spirit had done a work here. Now, almost fifteen yrs. later, after a quick marriage- my friends are mature in the Lord and bear much fruit. They think I am responsible for their getting saved. I don't. I did pray and minister, and I thank God that in his mercy he reached out and answered.
Just an encouragment to pray for the salvation of people all the time. Don't be discouraged. God would have all men to be saved. It is his will. It is a prayer in agreement with his will.
Choose you this day whom ye will serve. but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Amen.
From one bride to another, God keep you, bless you, increase you, Rhonda

God is good.
We serve an awesome God.
.
. Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you.
This time is short, serve Him well, serving all.
Without exception.

Hey Rhonda, several months' back, you wrote a post of this man's salvation, if I'm thinking correctly. It was touching. Do you recall which writing; and if so, would you mind posting it again? I'm happy to hear that he's abiding in God!
I have a fantasy (vision?) of the man next door's salvation... hmmm. Maybe I'll write about it? God bless!

Hi Pat, You remember well! Yes, I did a post on this. I will try to find it. I think it was titled "All because of a religious tract". It has been somewhere around 12-14 yrs. since they both accepted Christ and they are great friends. Thank you so much for stopping by to comment. Love to you, my friend.

Great story! Lately I've been challenged to pray more boldly for God to do the miraculous in several areas. I realized how easy it is to sit back and half-heartedly pray "your will be done" (which of course is important too!). Rather, I am 'asking in faith believing' and 'persisting' and standing in prayer on those things I know to be the promises and will of God. And, to your point, it IS his will that all be saved! Amen!
Susan aka Red God gives the very best to those who leave the choices to Him. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...to Him be the glory. Eph 3:20
Find me at my screen name, blogspot and the usual ending. See ya there!

Hi Rhonda, I just love stories like this. What inspiration.I`d love to be able to help somebody like that.Maybe when i get more knowledge i might. Do`nt be cross with me but as yet i don`t feel confident enough to speak about The Lord and His Word.I haven`t got the answers.Don`t get me wrong, i do know some stuff but it`s limited so i think i need to know far more to help anybody. Peace be with you, Wendy
Show me the way Sweet JESUS. Lead and i Will follow.

This is probably why God tells us to be instant in season and out of season II Tim 4:2.
I remember one of the most unlikely people (rough, tough and macho) being a passenger at work, pleading with me to show him assurance He would go to Heaven. WE JUST NEVER KNOW WHO GOD IS TALKING TO. GBY
Eph 2:10 We are his workmanship (poiema, or poem, or work of art) created in Christ Jesus.
God is an artist and you are His masterpiece!
