It really hurts me to say this - I have enjoyed my time here at Big Church, but it is time to leave now. I thought that I wanted to stay after I got married because I have friends here and I enjoy reading what other people have to say. It used to be that there were a few people who bought into false doctrines and New Age thinking here in Blogland, but most people were strong, believers in Christ Jesus who adhered to the Bible and the Bible alone for their teaching. That no longer appears to be the case. Many of the more popular bloggers now seem to be too ecumenical in their beliefs for me. They seem to think that it is okay to believe in teachings of other religions as well as Christianity. This is very wrong. The Bible is very clear that we should not take part in any other religion except Christianity. When I first started blogging, it was to come against the teaching of Universalism. Now New Age teachings and false doctrines are coming from many people instead of just a couple. It seems to me that these people are taking over here at Big Church, and I have no desire to be here any longer. I used to have the time and energy to come against this kind of baloney, but I don't anymore. I am married and have too many other responsibilities. I am glad to see that there are people here who still adhere to the Truth and who can take up the battle for righteousness here. It just can't be me any longer. I am not talking about everyone here at Big Church, so don't think that I am automatically talking about you, okay? You need to examine yourself to see if you are in the Faith. That is not my job. Before I remove my profile in a couple of days, I wanted to say how grateful I am to anyone who gave me words of encouragement while I have been here. I want to say thank you for all the prayers that have been said for me by people here. I want to say thank you for all of the people who have become my friends here. I appreciate so many of you. I also want to thank all of the people here who adhere to the Truth and wish to continue in this battlefield. I pray God's richest blessings upon you. Take care, Everyone! |

You will be greatly missed here, Jean, but I understand about your priorities needing to change. I hate that I won't be able to see your smiling face any longer here as I know it will go away when your profile is removed.  But your posts and your comments will remain...and I still have so many links to them. You have deposited a treasure-house of valuable stuffhere, my friend, and I, for one, will continue to direct people to it. God bless you, Jean (and Ed). Thank you for ALL of your contributions to all of us here on BC--especially me. I appreciate you VERY much! I have no doubt the Lord will continue to use you in a powerful way as you hold to all He's taught you and the Word of Truth which never changes. I hate to see you go. If the basics of BC runs true then you will be ignored as you leave and considered pompus for your statements. That is far from the truth. You have integrity. You leave the same way you came here. With a clear conscience. As far back as I can read into your blogs, you have always had standards and stood by them. There are some wonderful people here. But it seems there are more here that make it feel like Sodom and G. I hate to see you go. I will miss you. You do have a new life. You do have new responsibilities with your great husband Ed. You did that right too. You allowed the Holy Spirit to give you a list so that you would know when it was the right man. You did not let yourself waste time with the wrong one. It is sad here...it is a sad state of affairs. It breaks my heart too. God Bless You

Jean........... I'm sorry to see you go too. I can understand your new responsibilties which make it difficult to put much time into this place. Dear Jean, I've only read a few of your post and comments. You have commented of several of mine and your comments were always an inspiration to me. I appreciate you. I totally agree with your findings about what's taking place here. Even in the short time that I've been here it has definitely taken a turn for the worse. The bible says these things are going to happen and rapidly increase as the return of the Lord draws near. It's a disappointment to actually witness it though. And to see how many are being deceived must really be grieving the heart of God. Thank you for standing for truth. God bless you and yours...you will be missed. Maria

Jean..You are a remarkable woman and a great example of faith, courage, love, determination and strong on your stand for God's principles! I am sad to see you go, but I know that God has a great ministry that He wants you and Ed to accomplish! It is my prayer that you will continue to stand strong in your faith and trust in the Lord, and that your love and passion for our Lord Jesus Christ will continue to burn in your heart... I am very sad to see you go. I will miss you so much. I don't think you really know the impact that you have had here, for me it has been tremendous. I will never forget you and what you have done for me in my walk with God. You have been an excellent model of faith in action here at BC. Thank You for allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to me through you, for through you He has truly BLESSED me. Prodical, your blog on Meditation and Firecrackers on her indulging in the New Age sealed the deal. Here a person has has once again poured out their heart and it just goes over peoples heads. It just shows how little the real truth matters. She has chosen the truth over people who spread garbage. That is what is going on.

Hey, Dennis!!! You're back!!! Jean, I know I have already commented here, but I thought of something earlier this afternoon. I can understand if your leaving is due to all the changes in your life and you not having the time to continue being involved here on BC. But if it's for the reason you stated, that you feel BC has now been infiltrated by so much "darkness" (my paraphrase), consider this: What's the easiest, quickest (and really, the only) way that darkness can exist? Turn off the light! One question: Has the Lord released you from BC? If so, then, by all means, be obedient. If His grace is moving, then move with it! But if not...if I may be so bold... Where the heck do you think you're going??
