Why Do Women Go to the Bathroom in Herds?

This is a question that I have always wondered about - why is it when women are at a restaurant, etc., they always go to the bathroom in herds but men never do? You will never hear a man say, "Hey, Bud, I have to hit the can. You care to join me?" LOL! Just wondering if anyone had a clue... | ||

I was never one to ask anyone to come along with me to the bathroom....However, I have been asked by my friends, sisters and other ladies to do this. I think it's mostly to get some extra chit..chat in. They may feel uncomfortable talking about certain things at the table.

haha companionship...togetherness...someone to talk to even with the essentials of life while waiting in queues...quite inbuilt in us to chatter and natter wherever we ladies are...I think...what do you think lol  Man can make many plans...BUT it is the Lord who will direct his paths....

well, let's see...it's a great place to catch up, talk about stuff "privately," share make up, let each other know if our slip is showing, etc., make a fast getaway together & DON'T FORGET they teach us the "buddy system" since like preschool, so we're conditioned to ALWAYS GO TOGETHER!!!

we have smaller bladders than men that must be emptied more frequently and women like to do their own kind of female bonding

In Holland we don't ask each other to go to the bathroom in herds.... but when we have reached that destined place individually, we always meet a herd waiting...

I don't know. I like to go and do what I have to do and leave. I'll catch up on any chat at a better time and place; that way we can talk in peace and without any rush.

one to open the door...one to open the stall door...one to guard it....one to make sure there is soap, one to make sure the sink is in proper working order, one to make sure there is paper towels or the blower is working, one to remind her what she came there to do....there could be more reasons but I have never been involved. In Poland it may require more women

LOL...So true. But Jean you forgot to mention what kind of heard. I think its a rampaging heard of turtles! Slowly and painfully fussing about their hair and make up. Have you ever noticed the women that spend two hours getting ready then get in the car drive 15 min's to get where they are going and then rush to the bathroom to make sure they still look ok? If it is not cemented in place in 2 hours ..kiss it good bye darlin.  Have a blessed day and thanks for giving me a good laugh!

Great Post. beastmaster you are too funny. I don't care to take a herd with me either. It's always too crowded and hot. I can find better places to chit chat. We are designed like God-- fully human, fully alive.

haha, after reading all these replies, i'm not sure i agree with the lot but it was always the thing to do so we headed to the ladies in herds. If we were single we talked about the guys...married, we talked about the kids. honk honk

personally I think there should be a rule with this stuff...it should all be tape recorded over a persons life and then played at their funeral......wow
