Well, you have 7 year Tribulation and then 1,000 year Kingdom before the end of the world, so it will be at least that much longer.

I meant do you think that Christ will come back in our lifetime. Sorry if what I said was misleading.

Different topics. Yes, I do. I see the pieces being put on the chessboard. I am listening for the trumpet to say, "Come up hither".

That is true - no one knows the hour, but the Word does say that we Christians should be able to discern the times and know when it is close. I was just curious. I have no clue myself. I was just wondering what others thought. Thanks for stopping by!

Ah, now that you have cleared what you mean by the world coming to an end , I will put my two pence in.
Jesus is coming very soon, And I really believe HE will return when I am still alive. All the pastors around the world is saying so too.so much of the bible have and is being fulfilled. I was listening to a discussion amongst some pastors on the GOD channel, and they were saying that before only a small amount of Jews were accepting JESUS in a year, now there are several every WEEK. and there is somewhere in the Bible that says that HIS return will be when the dews turn to HIM.
Oh I do not believe we will go through the tribulation, the rapture will take place first, Just as Noah did not , just as lot did not. GOD moved HIS children out first before HE pours out HIS wrath, and the way the people in the world is behaving so wicked now HE is getting ready to do the same again.
The LORD showed me a vision of 3 crosses, 2 were not finished forming as yet, there was a lot of fire all over the place, and HE said to me " when these crosses are finish forming , I will be there " If any one have a interpretation of this I would be very glad for you to post something on my blog.
Love and blessings to all in Jesus name,
Forry.

Yes, it used to be just a couple of pastors here and there, but now we are all saying it, or at least those who are looking for His return.

That is very interesting about the rate of Jews coming to the Lord being on the increase. Very significant!

I also like your arguement for a pre-trib rapture. I am praying for a pre-trib one myself, but am bracing myself for the long haul, just in case. I think you can never be too prepared.

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with us.

Be blessed!

If I am wrong on the pre-trib rapture, then I am going street preaching in front of the HQ for the Anti-Christ with my family. We'll be in Heaven later that day!

Amen, Brother! I will be one of the first to go, because I will be out there in the streets trying to stop people from taking the mark of the beast!

I could be mistaken but I thought I spoke/ drew ref: to Matthew 10: v23. Do read it and you will see what JESUS said of HIS return.
Then follow the news on Israel, how they have to leave that part , then the other and go to another part, What did JESUS mention about that?????
Love and blessings to all,
Forry.
PS,
TO BSK, and, realysaved, this marriage bug you all are spreading around on BC is surely catching, more deadly than the chicken flu !!!

Really love you all in Jesus name,
Forry.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree;

( Israel )

When his branch is yet tender,

( May 1948 Israel returns as a state )

And putteth forth leaves,

( June 1967 Israel recaptures Jerusalem )

Ye know that summer is nigh:

( Last Days )

So likewise ye, (Israel) when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors
( Last Days = Second Coming )

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

My question is how long is a generation?

Well let's see.....Do we believe what Peter says about it? The end of the world will be suddenly. "as a thief in the night" Peter says. It is all right there in 2Peter 3:9 thru 10. Describes elements melting .....and the EARTH and the works therein shall be BURNED up...." And then he says we then "look for a new heaven and a new earth..wherein dwells righteousness"...
Now ask this question: is this going to happen after a 1000 yr reign of Christ on earth? Well no...for Peter says in verse 11.."seeing then that all these things shall be disolved, WHAT MANNER OF PERSONS OUGHT YE TO BE IN ALL HOLINESS AND CONVERSATION IN GODLINESS." Then Peter goes on and says people are to "look for" the same things he describes in the preceding verses. Reading this one does not see the people who are to look for it being people who would live at the close of a millennium...a people who have gone through a Gog and Mago War, an Armageddon. It seems obvious to me Peter is thinking of the people to whom he was writing....or to people who will be in any generation....people like us....who will experience Jesus coming in judgment...as a thief (as Paul too describes it...1st Thess 5: 2-3). As I study other parts of the Bible I find the end will be immanent. Will be sudden.
