 If the anti-christ was alive today he would have deceived a whole lot of Christians before he would get the whole world hood winked. He will be a wolf in sheep's clothing make no mistake about that. He will know scripture and he will have gifts and he will be very subtle and speak not with force but speak to the selfishness of mens hearts rather their first love over God. The anti-christ can not rise to power until he has the lukewarm, itchy ear, carnal and greedy hearted Christians tripping over themselves first to hear him speak and perform financial miracles. It will be the those who follow Christ whole heartedly and the backslidden Christian who returns to God and sees the anti-christ for what he is a fake and fraud...these will be thrown in jail, killed or persecuted for Christ name. Train up your children so they can train up theirs so they will see the anti-christ for what he is when he comes on the scene. Praise God he is bigger then the bad dude....hehehe

 I voted yes because I believe he is alive and being 'trained' to take his place. You didn't say, what do you think?

 Oh sorry! I meant to add that I believe he will be the same age as Jesus (33) when he takes his place in the world.

He could be laying low, waiting for the world to "need" him before he reveals himself. Interesting comment, though. Thanks!

I am not sure, but I think he very well could be here and being trained, as you say. I believe that the time is short. I would love to be here when the end of this age comes! How awesome! If not, then I think it will happen in our children's lifetimes. Just my thoughts...

Wow! That is very interesting! Do you mind elaborating on why you think that? So that people will think that He has come back to continue His life from where He left off? Hmmmmm...

 Ooops, I meant to say 30, the same age Jesus was when He started His ministry. I say this because I believe everything of God, satan has a counterfeit. ie. Father, Son, Holy Ghost........satan, anti-christ, beast; prophecy... fortune telling, etc. This is just my personal belief, I have nothing from the Word to back this up.

Interesting thought. Hmmmmmm... We will have to wait and see on that one. It would make sense if he did it that way, though, wouldn't it? Thanks for sharing!

 If we are already in the end times...as many say so...then the antichrist is here or will be here soon enough and in training and preparation for his time of evil...just some thots...may the Lord keep us faithful unto Him...amen
Man can make many plans...BUT it is the Lord who will direct his paths....

Yes, may the Lord keep us faithful unto Him - that is my prayer, too. Only He can keep me and give me the grace to go through what I believe is ahead. Even if we are raptured before the great tribulation, I believe we will have to go through spiritually trying times. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Good thought! I think that may very well be true. He doesn't know when it will be either, so he probably has tried to have one in training all the time. Very interesting!

 ABSOLUTELY! In my opinion of course.
I am not sure if the mark of the beast will be 666. What I do know is that some parents are getting micro chips put in there kids and animals to be able to track them in case of kidnapping or whatever. Mostly the Rich and Famous. Also, there has been talk of micro chips inserted in your hand to buy groceries or pay for whatever just scan your hand no credit card needed or check book. In my opinion, this is just the beginning of the MARK.
Jean, have I been mislead on this?
Because if it becomes mandatory having the chip inserted in my hand, guess I will starve to death, because in my opinion, that is the mark.

 Jesus warned us that there would be many anti-christs. He also said that the spirit of anti christ was even then working.

Christ means annointed one. Anti-christ means against annoint one.

 Jim Searey's web site called Great joy in great tribulations has a really interesting page on the anti Christ(not that I believe all on his site)

It is listed under The devil's top man in the earth.
