Continuing Saga of Ed's Trip to Get Me

Well, Ed did not make the bus this morning. Boo! Hoo! It is a long story and not worth going into details about. He does plan on getting on the bus tomorrow morning at 9AM, so he should be here in PA Thursday evening. One more day seems like torture, but I am trying to be patient. The Lord is in control. Please, send up another prayer if you think of Ed and me, okay? We would really appreciate it. I'll keep you posted!

I know it's frustrating. Perhaps his not being able to get to the bus is protection from something that could have happened along the route.

God is in control and I will pray for both of you in this.

Blessings,
Sharyl

Be patient. Sometimes, if we are rushing our way, an hour or two is like eternity. Relax, God is in control. My prayer for you and Ed.

Hi Jean,

Remember you waited all your life for Ed, so you can wait one more day. I know what you mean though. I can be very
when it comes to waiting for certain things. I will pray! Love, Rhonda

Yep, that is exactly what Ed said! We are resting in Him, but I must admit, I am squirming a little here. I miss him very much! Thank you for your prayers!

You did bring a smile to my face. Thanks, Sabrina!

Yep, Ed thought of it being a divine appointment for someone along the way, too. Wouldn't that be great?

I am doing my best to remain calm and at peace. I ache to have his strong arms holding me again, though. Is that too intimate a detail to share here? I hope not. LOL!

Keep up the prayers! Thanks!

Yes, time is a very relative thing. Sometimes it seems to fly way too fast, like when I was in Oklahoma. Other times it seems to go oh so slowly, like today. It is hard to believe that time is not a variable in this existence. Everything in me says it is. It is not hard to see how time is different with God, is it?

Thank you so much for your prayers, my dear Sister. Be blessed!

Hi, Rhonda! Yes, I have searched for Ed my entire life and finally found him! Amazing that he was doing the same thing. We were born three weeks apart and have been searching every since for each other, really! Amazing!

I can wait one more day, you are right. I don't have to be totally thrilled with waiting, though, do I? LOL!

Thank you so much for your prayers! I really appreciate them and you!

Will do. Wow- God Rocks!

Lord, we come before Your Throne boldly as we are told to do. We know Lord that we are nothing but flesh and bone that You cause to breath and raise and sleep. We surrender at Your feet oh God. All these little circumstances that seem to delay or prolong Lord- we know they are either Your hand and will or the evil one just trying to thwart what You have already began. We honor and praise you Lord and Your choice. --And we rebuke the devourer in the Name of Jesus!

Lord I just ask for a special hand upon Jean & Ed Lord. You know all they have been through that hasn't even been testified about here. You, above anyone else- even them know why You have chosen to place them together.

It is not as the world says Lord, "Where there is a will there is a way." It is Lord, "Where there is YOUR will - there is a way". Thank You for this sister and borther Lord and thank You for the awesome plans you have for them jointly.

In the Name of Jesus, Amen-

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your prayer and you! Yes, it is as you said - where there is God's will, there is a way. We both know that we are in the Lord's perfect will for us. There is no doubt in our minds of that. Everything will be taken care of. I am sure. I just miss him! Boo! Hoo! Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

I can only imagine why he would/could miss that bus. There may be a lot of necessary things to do and take care of prior to just leaving every thing.
Many loose ends to tie up and some at the very last minute that can take longer than planned.
At least that would be my case.

This also could be your opportunity to accelerate your growth in areas (such as patience and acceptance and more) that may need some work prior to actually living together for the rest of your life with another.
Ohhh, it's so much a better thing when one can clean one's own house without someone else having to come in and do it for them (such as God sometimes sends our way). JOY!!!

Well, I'm squirming with you. But, you know, the quote from fullofjoyeternal made a lot of sense. I believe God does protect us from things that could have happened by getting right smack dab in the middle of our plans. It'll all work out!

I prayed for you (and others here on BC) this morning when I was spending time with the Lord. You know, we really are like a family here even though we've not actually met one another. I'll be thinking of Ed arriving there in PA sometime today...and kind of imagining the scene when you go to pick him up at the bus station.

So hang in there, Jean. Patience is a "virtch me!" (as opposed to virtue). (There's a cute story behind that I'll share with everyone here someday.)

Blessings, sister! Sharon

The Lord has been working on both Ed and me for a long time. He has invested alot of time, love and anointing oil in both of us. No one's house is totally clean this side of heaven, although from some of your posts, you seem to think you are closer than most. I am a little annoyed that you felt the need to come to my blog and give me an exhortation during one of the happiest times of my life, but oh well. You said what you felt you had to say, I guess. I hope you feel better. Sorry if you feel that I am being abrupt here. It is just how I am feeling right now.

Yep, I am at rest that yesterday was the day Ed should leave rather than the day before. Who knows why besides God? Maybe Ed will have a clue when he gets her later this evening. Even if he doesn't, that is okay. AS LONG AS HE GETS HERE!!!!!!!! LOL! 8 hours, 40 minutes and counting! LOL!

Thanks for being excited for us! We appreciate it!
