WorshippingOne left a comment on my last post that I just have to acknowledge in a separate post. Sharon, you are so right! I was really fine with being single for the rest of my life when God started talking to me last year about Him wanting me to get remarried. He told me that He wanted me to get married so that my husband and myself could serve Him together. He told me that our ministries together would be multiplied, not just added, by us being together. Out of our ministry together, and our being intimate with the Lord, would come an intimacy between us like nothing I have ever known. That is why I became willing to get remarried. It is not about me. It is all about God and others. He has given me a love for Himself that is beyond my comprehension. I fall in love with Him more and more each day. It is not a love that I have had to work up. I just asked Him to give it to me, and He did. He has taken me to His bedchamber and then to His banqueting table, and His banner over me is love. I can't tell you how much I love Him. Words are not enough. However, I can tell you that He wants you to feel the love I feel for Him, too. He is no respecter of persons. Ask Him today to give you a love for Him. Ask Him to cause you to fall in love with Him. He will absolutely do that because that is His perfect will for you. Don't gaze at Him from a distance. Enter into the Holy of Holies. He paved the way for you to do so by His work on the Cross. He longs to be the Lover of your soul. Don't disappoint Him. Amen! |

"It is not about me. It is all about God and others." Amen, my sister! But isn't it wonderful that He "hooks us up with the best" WHILE He works through us for His glory and His purposes? I'd say that's a pretty good deal, amen?
