WOW! I can't believe I just read that! I have said this for years, although I say it slightly different. We are taught to think of ourselves as humans on a spiritual journey, but really we are spirits on a human journey, a journey that will end and we will continue. I often say this not just when I am preaching but to individuals when I am encouraging them in going through trials and serving the Lord with their lives. When this first came to me a number of years ago it had such an impact on me and I have seen it impact countless others I have shared it with since then. When you let this get down on the inside of you and you realize for the first time who you really are how can you NOT be changed? When it first came to me and as I have shared it over the years I have often thought this is so powerful, I must have heard it somewhere. But I have honestly never been able to attribute it to anyone. I think only God can give a word like this and surely it must come to a number of individuals, not just one. Still though I am very happy to hear you sharing it, I pray you will be blessed as you encourage others! There is yet another part to the saying, possibly you will hear that also one of these days.

Wise and persuasive words are not enough! Nor is just living a good life. If I am to truly live, I must now serve HIM with my life! ...and so... Gal 2:20
