Self-Esteem Is Not Important!

 I had a horrible childhood. I had no self-esteem. I still don't! But I have something today that many people don't have, something that is more valuable than all the self-esteem in the world - that is God esteem! He doesn't want us to have "self" anything anyway, so don't worry about self-esteem.

He has taught me that I don't need the approval of another living soul. I only need His approval. He has taught me who I am in Him, how much He loves me and to trust in Him alone. He taught me to dwell in His presence and that all my problems melt away there. He has taught me so many wonderful things. Now I am a secure, joyful, confident woman of Him because of the awesome things He has done in my life. You know what the best part is? He is not a respecter of persons - He will do the same for anyone who asks Him to! Isn't that awesome?!

Lord, my prayer is for each person who reads this post that You will teach them the difference between self-esteem and God-esteem, strip them of the need for the former and give them a huge dose of the latter! In the most precious and holy name of our Lord and Savior, Amen!
