I Am Done Looking for a Man!

When I first joined Big Church a few months ago, I was here to meet men. I was looking for a husband and I was really hoping that I would find him here. Many men have contacted me, and I have contacted many men since I joined. I guess I have met all kinds - the good, the bad, the ugly (inside). I have been proposed to many times, but turned each one down. None of them were the one God wanted me to be with. I have had it, though, with looking for a man. I have spent way too much time on it. I need to move on and concentrate on the things the Lord wants me to be doing, namely my ministry here in my home. I told the Lord that if He wants me to have a man that He is going to have to bring him to me because I am not searching anymore. I am at total peace now. I believe the Lord will bring me a man, but now I am just not wasting my human energy and time on it. It is in His hands. I will wait upon Him.

I understand, time is of an essence and wasting time is not the least bit productive. I only joined last Nov. 05, but seems like there is more than 10-1 ratio for the age groups. I just quit looking,if it be my Lord's will he will send someone to me. Be blessed with your new peace. I never had a lot of patience, unfortunately, so I quit the month of Dec. I have some wonderful Christian friends, and you can't love anyone if there isn't friendship there first. So make a lot of friends, and keep Jesus number 1 just like you said. You are a smart Lady Yesterday is past and gone, but tomorrow is forever.

With a silly attidude adjustment , your going to see that after putting in the LORD'S HAND'S , you will start seeing real men , yep , the real mecoy's , so be patient , glad to hear your at Peace with yourself , and Darling .... Now that you've quit searching, He will bring the man He has for you to you. I believe a lot of the time God is just waiting for us to say, "Okay Lord I give up." Then He says,"Good, now I can do it." Elizabeth

so true Rebekka, I agree, when you are done looking!!!!! thats when the right one shows up, lol........ But the peace in our hearts and the wonderful fellowship spent with the Lord is beautiful...... and so very precious to have before a man comes along......
