Last Read: |
I see that someone deleted this post that was made a couple of days ago. Since I wrote and posted a reply to it, I thought it would be helpful to have the original article to reference, so I am reprinting it. I have left out the names, however. Before you read this, please be very clear that I do not agree with what is said here. This is false doctrine. My purpose here is to expose it for false doctrine, not to embrace or endorse it in any way. "While we were having our usual cup of hot tea this morning, ********* and I were discussing the Third Testament. "The Torah was the original "Bible" that began with an oral tradition and comprised God's Holy purpose and Word. It tells of God's original covenant with man that He was our God and we are His people; if the covenant was broken by man, we would surely die. "People broke that covenant, but God did not. He made a new covenant while fulfilling the consequences of the old covenant by promising a Messiah that would provide salvation for the sins of the world through forgiveness, overcome death and become Lord of all. "The oracles of the prophets contained in the Torah foretold of the coming of Christ. Later, after Christ had come and became that atoning sacrifice, thus fulfilling the the previously written words to those who witnessed this event, the New Testament foretold of a time when He would return yet again. Those who were not God's people, He would call His people. He would seek out the lost and save them to show His faithfulness unto all generations. "The combination of these two sets of events were compiled and seperated into two individual sections we now know as the Old Testament (Torah) and the New Testament. "When Christ does indeed return again, both to rapture the chosen, end the tribulation and establish the Kingdom Age, there will be a Third Testament added to the Bible which will testify to those of the thousands years of peace that which we are experiencing in these the last days before His return as well as the details of the return itself. It will be a reminder and an exhortation to those who will live at that time and another testimony to the fact that men do break their covenant with God, but God does not ever break His covenant with man. Even when we reject God He will always show His loving faithfulness to His promises and never gives up so that the world through Him can be saved. "The Bible is a collection of writings by people who understood the mystery and were moved by the Holy Spirit of God to share what they had seen and heard. "Will there be a Third Testament added to what we know now as the Bible with testimonies of the outpouring of God's Spirit upon all flesh along with prophecies and visions written by people who have understood the mystery of grace, witnessed yet another return of Christ, and feel compelled to write down what they see and hear as a testament for future generations? I believe the answer to that question is an emphatic "YES" simply because He has shown me that this will be so and I do believe there are others who have been compelled to write down what God is showing them which will later be compiled as a part of the Third Testament I am speaking of. |

I didn't read this when it was first posted. But from the sound of it; I can guess who it was who posted it. The person often claims to receive revelations from God, and is deceived for sure. There will be no third testament added. What a shame. Friendlychat ....... the person who wrote this is not talking about a mere theory; but rather direct revelation from God that more scripture will be written. Do you believe that ? No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 1 Cor. 2: 7

Rev.22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophesy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophesy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. And so, be not deceived. Romans 14 verse 5 One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike. 3 Each must be fully convinced in his own mind.

Wow - this is such a scarey post - And to say that God has shown someone that there will be an addition to the Word??? Doesn't it say in Rev that no one is to add to or take away from the word? Have they not really read the Word??? Who is this person who had this post removed who was endorsing such a belief? I'm glad it was removed for new christian's sake but perhaps it should be exposed so that others can know that their teachings are against the Word of God!!! Please email me personally if you feel that this is something you can share. And thank you for the warning!!! Be blessed always, Peb

godlycook, I believe that God will reveal through His Holy Spirit more and more as we grow up and become more like Jesus. Probably there will be books about it. There are a lot of books about revelations and visions already. I read them and I don't have any problem when it is in accordance with the Bible. I have a lot of visions myself. The clue is to be very careful with it and only to use them when it's enveloped in wisdom. You state: The person often claims to receive revelations from God, Personally I haven't experienced that and I think this whole issue is tremendously blown up. There are even lies inserted about this person. If you have your own Bible and you can pray, what to be scared of? It's your contact with Jesus. It's your faith. He's got a plan with your life. Listen to what He has to say to you personally. Walk your own walk with Jesus. Be blessed and be a blessing, Gloria

I JOhn 4:1- Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Know what you believe and why you believe it... Standing for God's Truth, glo Teach me your way, O LORD,and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify Your name forever. (Psalm 86:11,12)

God have revealed them unto us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corointhians 2:10 We are commanded to search the Scriptures: John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Falsehood indoctrination are the results of revelation so-called when people reading into the scriptures rather than taking-in what the scriptures reveals...know the difference from this approach. It is us who needs to take heed and embrace the Word of God, not the other way around. Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Revelation 2: 25 But that which you have already hold fast till I come. There are no other NEW revelation outside of the Word of God! Hold fast to what He has already given IN His Words and not another. Amen. IN Christ, bro Rick

These people that claim impartation to speak as the oracles of God are treading on thin ice... God gave a very stern warning against these: Deut. 18:20-22 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? 22When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. Under the old economy, it was the death penalty for such nonsense, and according to this passage, if they claim to speak for God and they're ever wrong ... EVER.. EVEN ONCE... they qualify as a false prophet: thou shalt not be afraid of him. God alone can speak prophetically with 100% accuracy because He alone is able to bring it to pass!!!
