Microchip Mandatory as of today (June 3, 2006) in Los Angeles County

No, I'm not kidding and yes, I have a question. As of today, it is now MANDATORY to have every pet (including fish and livestock, apparently) inserted the "rice sized" microchip in ALL of Los Angeles County and Los Angeles County's unincorporated areas (includes where I live). I read it in yesterday's (June 2, 2006) "Antelope Valley Press" newspaper.

However (the county is throwing this in as a "bonus"), the county says they are willing to PAY (they claim it's a 40 dollar value) for us to take our pets to them for the implanting, because they received a "grant" to have every animal implanted AND spayed or neutered (if over 4 months).

Mandatory with 40 days to comply or??? They don't say what will happen to those that don't comply

but the word, "misdemeaner" was mentioned elsewhere, concerning the word mandatory.

Now, please note we did NOT ever even have this in ballot, no voting and I'm contacting the center for law and justice as to what legal recourse we have in the matter. However, this gave me chills, because as a Christian I know what this means.

My sister, Rhonda (unoficially adopted sister) told me today that in Europe, they are already requiring the chip for babies in the name of anti terrorism. Has anyone else heard this/can verify or disprove this? Because this scares me even more...because of the whole "Mark of the Beast" being a probably microchip implanted under the skin of our forehead or back of the hand...it really WOULD be quite easy in this day and age of computer technology and "scanning" a commonplace everyday thing (ie. grocery stores).

the technology is active
the technology is no longer "Sci fi"
and now legislation regarding mandatory IMPLANTED MICROCHIPS is now passed, without it EVER GOING TO VOTE

How did this slide through?

What the heck are we DOING??????

Question:
Does your area (county, city, province) also require a mandatory inserted microchip for your animals?

Is there also a mandatory spay/neutering of all your pets? (if so, please list below)

Does your Country/area OFFER or require mandatory inserted microchips in your newborn babies?

These microchips are NOT to help the "anti terrorist" agenda. They are NOT like lojack, that will track down missing animals and . These are the size of a grain of rice and only scanned with a hald held device to show the social security number and "contact" information of the "registered owner" of the pet. It is not a helpful idea at all, actually. It's pretty useless unless you're a vet or working at the pound, to locate the registered owner of an animal.

*disgusted look*
No, never heard of it
Yes, we have that already in our area
No, they are still trying to get the funding
Of course! We microchip everything. What's wrong with that?
What are you babling about, you silly chit?
Don't know, don't care..
Please look below for my answer..

OK BIG BROTHER GET OFF MY FLIPPIN' COMPUTER

Doggone, I was on a roll here and all of a sudden the site disappeared. OK we're headed for something here.

As I was saying: I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!

I'm not sure about my area but they were talking about it. I did hear though that the military started the chip insertion already for a select few. I'm not sure if this was true or not.

The thing that gets me is the offer to pay for this. There's alot of innocent people out there that's going to get tricked up by all this foolishness. But that's the signs of the times........

I wouldn't freak out Mom too much, at least you know the truth. As long as we stick close to the Lord we'll be OK. OK?

I mean, God's will WILL be done
but we ARE supposed to fight for the truth

and I can't think of a better way than information

what do they say, "Information is power" and "he who CONTROLS the information, controls us."

What gets me is that this passed legislation WITHOUT going to vote

how did THAT happen?
It's a BIG DEAL, Sista...

"Information is power" and "he who CONTROLS the information, controls us."

Well who do you think controls the information? And who is controlling us?

Nothing in Nevada.....Yet! I've heard of it, but I hadn't heard that anyone was going to make it mandatory.

But you have a very interesting point. If it is the size of a grain of rice, and can only be scanned with a hand held scanner, it can't possibly be used to find lost children and/or animals. You would have to be standing next to them to scan them and at that point they aren't lost anymore! OR is there more to the story that they aren't saying? (Wouldn't surprise me if there was)

exactly!
so saying it's to locate the "owners" only makes sense in that if they are located and taken to a facility that has a scanner

but they are saying to implant them in every child in America, so that they can be found if "kidnapped" and my point is that it (1) isn't like lojak, (2) cannot TRACK DOWN anyone and (3) doesn't prevent them being kidnapped. The only thing I can think of is the whole "Beast" thing, because I cannot see it being ANY use to implant children with it..

and if it becomes a felony to NOT do it (like it's a FELONY to not get every child a social security number within 30 days of their birth), then what the HECK are we (as Christians and having an implant being against our religion) to do THEN??? AND!!!!!

What are we supposed to do when legislation gets passed like this (slipped by, as it were) where something like this isn't even VOTED ON!!!!

that's my point..

This has not reached our area.

I think, in the larger scheme of things that this is the enemy's way of desensitizing us to the whole microchip idea. If the government brought it out the first time with the idea of implanting them into humans with all of our data on them and with GPS capabilities, no one would stand for it. The idea of doing it as a passive measure and in animals and on a voluntary basis in humans, makes them appear people friendly.

I don't know about anyone else, and I may change my mind in the future, but as for now, this is where I draw the line. I don't plan to ever allow a microchip to be implanted into my body.

The company that invented this microchip, Verichip out of Florida, is as we speak trying to equip the micro chips with GPS capabilities. Once that ability has been developed, I think that the stage will be set for the cashless society to be established and then for the antichrist to arise. I personally think it is time to look up for our redemption draweth nigh!

Just my thoughts...

I have heard it for pets, but not required, just to aid in if they get lost.

People, that's just wrong. Wis. just passed a law last week forbidding a requirement. Surprisingly our liberal governor knows what the future will hold and the law states that we cannot be forced to be "chipped". That's just outrageous. BIG BROTHER, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

That is nice for now, but when the Antichrist takes over it is going to be get it or don't buy or sell. That will be a pretty good incentive to get it, I believe.

that's california for you. beautiful weather, not so beautiful of an agenda. how does arnold feel about all this?

they do pets here (voluntarily)at the anti-cruelty society for $90. They do kids too (also volutarily), but I don't know how much that costs.

It is like the pay with your finger thing. It gives me the willies. It kind of makes me giggle too, because they have that sign for it with the one finger pointing up. It always makes me think of "pull my finger" (a game i play with my kids)

Mom4Jesus replies on 6/9/2006 5:54 pm:
man, I expected Arnold to be a LOT different
but there you have it
glad when it's time for a change again
and hope (and pray) it's a better term next time
