I WAS INVOLVED IN AN AUTO ACCIDENT!!!

I'm buying a house, and the closing is set for Monday ( 10/5/2009 ), I'm off for the week to get everything moved to the new house. Everything is ready, I reserved a truck, I'm almost finished packing. On my way home from work ( driving in the rain ), a car suddenly appeared out of no where. I didn't see the car until I was right up on it, I hit my breaks but it was too late; and I hit it ( hard enough to spin it around ). I ended up on the sidewalk, as I'm trying to figure out where this car came from. I got out of my car, and looked over at the other car ( which I had just hit ) trying to see if the person in it was Ok. It was a woman driver......I asked her if she was alright; but she never said anything. She just sat there. I took out my phone to call the police; but before I could call. a police car pulled up. The first officer there had to call for another officer; because it was out of his district. Another officer arrived about 10 minutes later; and wrote the accident report. The woman I hit was charged with the accident; she was able to drive away; my car had to be towed. Now, I don't have a car to get to the closing, or to rent the truck. The new house is further away from my job, and it'll take forever to get there on public transportation. There's only one thing left to do.......PRAY!!!! No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 1 Cor. 2: 7 |

Well, you still have another do-it-yourself alternative: to rent a car. Here it's 10:30 A.M., but over there it's 4:30 A.M.

Couldn't you have rented a normal car? Why does it have to be truck? Is there no one that could drive you there? A friend? A coworker? A limo service??? Even if here it's almost 11 A.M., and over there almost 5 A.M. I couldn't make it there to give you a lift anyway. Besides I got rid of my car 10 days ago. However, you can always focus on the good news first: You came out of the accident without a scratch, and no fault! How about that?

Oh, never mind I lost my brakes Friday because a dang dog ran out in front of me. Blew the line off of the proportioning valve. P.S. Jesus4me66 drinks near beer. I'm glad no one was injured. My grandfather always told me to never worry about anything that only costs money. Cars can be replaced.....people not so easy.........Hope all works out well for you. Belief in God represents a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints

I hope it all works out good for you. I am thinking there will be plenty of people at the closing that will want you there enough to come and take care of your transportation. Somehow I've learned how to listen to the sound of the sun going down. ~ R. Crowell
