I never thought I'd live to see it.......the first elected black American President in the history; of this great country. For those of you who think it was a racially motivated election, think again. Obama received 334 electoral college votes ( even taking Republican states ); to McCains 157 and at the same time; won the popular vote 51% to McCain's 48%. He even took predominately white states ( where the black population was only 2% ), and people who earn more than $250,000.00 a year voted for him. That's quite impressive. I know many of you are disappointed, and hate the fact that Obama; has become our newly elected President. Don't hate..... but rather pray for our new President. For the Lord our God has placed him in office. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 1 Cor. 2: 7 |

. . .
. God anoints Who He may. God allows for ignorance. God allows for bad choices. God is still in control. May His will be done. His reasons are not ours. He is Sovereign, not man. We shall see as we pray for our new leaders. God has allowed. End of it. Rejoice. Endure. . . When we were redeemed, we were called to make disciples, raising them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, so they in turn may do likewise. Saying I am sorry is WORTHLESS without real repentance. True or FALSE ? Without a personal and intimate relationship with God, how can you ever realize the true identity and person of God? Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Know ? Yes ? ? .

The Lord is in control and He places whom He wishes to in that office. It's time to keep ourselves humble under His mighty hand and as you said, pray for the president. Let your gentleness be evident to all. Philippians 4:5

You used the word "hate" twice in your last sentence, Steve. No one else posting about the election has used such stern language; I believe you're projecting. By the way, I hate no one. Basically and in retrospect, I think you're sole purpose here is to argue. Sad. ![]() - Pat -My Testimony ... Updated.

Well I was happy to see the first elected black President and yes I did cry tears of joy for that reason and for all the American people who never thought they would see the day that as our Constitution and our Savior states that"all men are created equal" and treated as such.I pray that as Obama leads the nation he seeks not just wisdom from the Vice President and others but prays for wisdom to be lead by the Holy Spirit.I'll be in prayer for him every day.

I wouldn't call that projection; I'd call that sad. Why was that even necessary ? Although no one else may have used the word " Hate " on their post, the language they have been using gives them away. Calling people stupid, who voted for Obama is a loud signal, of the hatred some are feeling, at this point. Its sad, but true; and these people call themselves " Conservative Christians ". Thats what is sad about you Steve. I didnt vote for John McCain because he is white. I voted for him because he was more accomplished. He laid his life on the line for his country and the people in the military. He actually loves the original constitution of this country, while Obama says it is a hinderance. McCain has written and helped write laws. Obama wrote one that was so bad, it was tossed out by even his liberal buddies. It is called intellectual honesty. You have never given me an answer to what has Obama ever done to qualify himself to run the United States. There is no answer to that and you know it. But what matters to you is a Black Man is elected. Thats a sad representation of yourself. It is also racism. There are many men of the African American race that are qualified. Many that are as great of minds and character that would make them great Presidents such as a Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas and those are people the black community never embraces. Why? They both made it coming from poor backgrounds and worked hard and made great sucess. Here you have a man who is not born in America and thats a fact that disqualifies him right off of the bat. He was born in Kenya. The Hawaii type print on the bogus birth certificate was not even around in 1961. You have a man who lies about having been a muslim. He went to privare schools his whole life and then harvard. How many Black people relate to this? Acorn. In some areas 400,000 fake registrations were made and voted for Obama. This was not thrown out. In some areas people were strong armed at the voting areas. You are proud of this? This Obama person used to work with them. Even more corruption. Character? Yeah right. I love my country Steve. I want a qualified person running it. Even more so I want a good congress and senate. We havent had that in awhile as pork has been continually added to defense spending in order to get the pork through. So now Steve you have your black man. One that has never lead or changed anything and you are throwing your hope in him. Why? That is very rascist of YOU Steve. I dont care what color a mans' skin is who is President. But he should have qualifications. Obama has none. In his own book he speaks of the failures in Chicago and that came at the tune of 115 million dollars of taxpayers money. What do you think about Tony Rezco and the corruption in dealings with him? Do you poo poo it because he is black? What do you think of him sitting in a rascist church for 20 years and even writing in his books his agreement to Wrights extreme racism? As a Christian, how do you agree with this part of his Character. Would you sit there for 20 years? I would not. I would not be a part of any white supremist group, nor would I support anyone that is. Would you even go to a known terrorists party and then toast him knowing that he hates your country? This is Presidential material? He did all of this and it is on tape. I have so much more and its on tape. Its his stupid words. King of flip flops. How is a man that has never voted for a tax cut going to give a tax cut when he plans on rescinding the tax cuts. Do you want a liar in the white house. Yeah I can hear your reply. Bush lied about WMD's. Well no he didnt. The Loftus report is out there. The Hussein tapes are out there and confirmed by one of Husseins' Generals. So tell me, you count votes when you dont even know how many of them are real. I am still waiting for what qualifies Obama to be President. may good things never happen to him because he will destroy this country. His policies are not new but rather failed ones.

Yes I did use the word " Hate " twice, in relation to the fact that many " hate the fact " that Obama has won the election. Its interesting that during the campaign, McCain supporters ( here in Georgia ) were stealing the Obama signs off of people's property. Yet there was no retaliation, of stealing McCain signs. Last night ( again here in Georgia ) after Obama was declared the winner, people who had Obama signs on their front lawns, found their homes and cars had been vandalized, with paint guns. I wouldn't call that projection; I'd call that sad. Why was that even necessary ? Calling people stupid, who voted for Obama is a loud signal, of the hatred some are feeling, at this point. Its sad, but true; and these people call themselves " Conservative Christians ". By the way, I didn't say you hated anyone. Did I ? And I have seen the same attitude you talked about from you towards McCain! I don't see how you as a Christian can be so happy about voting for somebody who's so radically PRO-ABORTION!! And somebody who supports Gay Marriage. Somebody who said to Plan-Parenthood that one of the first thing he intends to do in office is sign into law the "freedom of choice act" HR-1964 which will codify abortion in this nation doing away with states rights in regards to restrictions such as Parental notification, not to mention the fact that even though I think its a despicable act I'm going to have to pay for it with my tax dollars because the bill provides for federal funds. Not to mention the most barbaric fact that the ban on partial birth abortions will be overturned. So much for judging a man by the content of his character rather than the color of his skin. Grace, like water, always flows downward, to the lowest place. Amazing Grace!!

. Did this country ever have Biblical roots in it's government? If so, they are almost gone now, from both sides. Yet one side, their platform is quite unbiblical. That is my point. Why vote for a side that is quite unbiblical if you profess to know what is right in the eyes of the Lord? What God given conscience did Christians vote with? What is a Christ world view? What is the eternal perspective? No government shall establish a church. No church will establish the government. This is separation of church and state, nothing more, nothing less. One nation under which God? In what God do we trust? Which God is implied? Does it matter? Apparently not. Sad. . Get over it McCain lost the election.....and you wishing Obama would choke on a chicken bone shows how pathetic you are. You keep talking about qualifications for becoming President, can you name them ? I've read the constitution and according to it; Obama is qualified. You put out lies about Obama not being born in the U.S.; stating that he was born in Kenya. That was part of the negative campaign tactics, used by the conservatives to discredit Obama, it didn't help McCain win and its not helping you. And what is this all about ? " So now Steve you have your black man. One that has never lead or changed anything and you are throwing your hope in him. Why? That is very rascist of YOU Steve. I dont care what color a mans' skin is who is President. But he should have qualifications. Obama has none. " I have my black man, and I'm throwing my hope in him ? I think your racism is showing, and you haven't been listening to what I've been saying. I've been speaking out against putting your hope in any political candidate or party, and you accuse me of putting my hope in Obama. Your attitude about the results of the election prove, that your hope is in man rather than God. While McCain supporters were steeling signs in Georgia Obama supporters were steeling signs over here in FL with no retaliation from McCain supporters so there's HATE on both sides!! And I have seen the same attitude you talked about from you towards McCain! I don't see how you as a Christian can be so happy about voting for somebody who's so radically PRO-ABORTION!! And somebody who supports Gay Marriage. Not to mention the most barbaric fact that the ban on partial birth abortions will be overturned. So much for judging a man by the content of his character rather than the color of his skin. Now as for the hate thing, when people go as far as to; call for ( or wishing for ) the death of Obama, thats a bit much. Christians have no business wishing that the President would die. I don't know what you read on any of my post, dealing with parties and politics, but I've always said; that Christians need to stop looking to any party to save this nation. Some Christians have been duped into believing that the Republican party is the righteous party, the party that will put a stop to abortions. What's taken them so long ? When they held the majority in the White House ( the President ) both Congress and the Senate, as well as in the Supreme Court, nothing was done to stop the wholesale practice of abortion. What makes you think they are the godly party ? At least with the democrats, you know what you're getting, but the republican party; tries to keep it on the low-low. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 1 Cor. 2: 7

The stealing of signs ( on both sides ) was ridiculous to say the least, and it was happening all over the country. I only spoke on what I knew was happening in my neighborhood ( or here in Georgia ), what I could actually see ( what was on the local news ). What makes you think they are the godly party ? At least with the democrats, you know what you're getting, but the republican party; tries to keep it on the low-low. And I completely agree that wishing death on a president is a horrid notion. But Obama isn't the only one who had death wished on him. You out to see how many comments I have read from Liberals wishing death and more on Bush. There has even been a documentary "The Death of a President" where the films maker created an assimilation of Bush's assassination. I further agree with you in that we as Christians should not put our trust in politics however we as Christians have a responsibility to participate in the political realm as part of our upholding a standard of righteousness. And yes the Republican party has its flaws, However there still remains a clear distinction between the to in terms of as you say righteousness. You ask what the Republican party has done. Well without the Republican Party you would not of had the 13th Amendment(Ending Slavery), the 14th Amendment(recognizing African Americans as citizens), and the 15th Amendment(Giving African Americans the right to Vote),the Democrats gave little to no support at all. Even the civil rights legislation that past in the 60s with kennedy would not have past if it were not for the republican vote, even though the Democrats had the majority and could of past with their votes alone(They had the 268 votes to pass it), the majority of them voted against it. In regards to abortion, you have the first federal ban,( The partial birth abortion ban), since Roe V Wade, with little support from democrats, you have the born alive infant protection act signed into law by president Bush which had democrat support however, Obama voted against it 3 times!!, and you have 2 supreme court judges placed appointed by Bush that has brought the Roe V Wade vote within one to over turn it, and with their vote upheld the ban on partial birth abortion 5-4 all 5 being the conservative judges. I say the republican party has done a very respectable job on social issues. and Even still that doesn't excuse the support for a party that is intending to do away with what ever gaines were made just like they did when they regained power in the late 19th century and did away with all the gains the Republicans made in the civil rights movement for the freed salves. Who do you think was behind "Jim Crow", the Klu Klux Klan, The fugitive Slave Bill, and the most disgusting of all; The Dred Scott Decision? Something to consider. Grace, like water, always flows downward, to the lowest place. Amazing Grace!!

When we begin to see the radical changes Obama promised- and begin to UNDERSTAND WHO IS BEHIND THEM- only then will we begin to understand why and HOW we have been sucker punched by a man we do not know and should never have trusted. His agenda isn't "democratic" or even American- all we have seen of this man is the ability to PLAY US FOR THE FOOLS WE HAVE BECOME. Race ya say? Hardly. But that makes a NICE DIVERSION AWAY FROM THE REAL PROBLEMS doesn't it? And who is the MASTER at deception and DIVERSION? Ya say GOD IS IN CONTROL. Yer all punch drunk from the beating Obama gave ya. Sober up and DO NOT PRAY FOR A LEADER WHO IS ABOUT TO DESTROY YOU BY HOOK AND BY CROOK. Change indeed. What we forget is that we have been warned in reverse again- what is coming is so well orchestrated and choreographed FROM OUTSIDE THE USA- that we never knew the difference cuz we DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW TRUTH. Change? Oh Yeah- get out yer Vaseline- it's already a done deal and it's gunna hurt the USA worse than we can imagine yet. Happy trails there pilgrims----------- don't bother to cry when ya find out what the real stakes were this time. Perfection... Possible? Yup... IF ya wanna TRY.

What saddens me is the appalling language and contention from both "political" viewpoints. Anything that can be said about one, can be said about the other. Disagreement for disagreements sake. How it just spirals down and down to more and more base commentary. Like a contest of who can belittle the other the best (worst). Talk of removing friendships and death wishes. Over what? Over disagreements in a political outcome. As if it has anything at all to do with our calling to witness. As if it's right to place our trust in these systems and men to be responsible for steering a collective morality and being spiritual leaders. To me, a bankrupt and circular way of thinking that accomplishes nothing for Him. There is only one King, one Leader, and He is alive and well. I hand that position over to no man, or group of men. Laws of men do little, but souls won to Christ do more change, one by one, increased upon the other, than any law could ever do. The battle is won by, and our purpose as His humble servants is advanced by . . . on the ground, one-on-one, gaining one lost soul at a time for Him, through His incredible and powerful influence, leadership, grace, love, and sacrifice. WE are responsible, not THEM. Nothing takes the place of that, nothing changes that, and nothing ever will. ![]()

I agree with your statement regarding appalling language although its not disagreements for disagreement sake. Its about 2 conflicting philosophies. I agree that politics should not be our chief end and its not mine however, I still maintain there is an important place for it. Its the difference between you being able to proclaim your allegiance to Christ our Lord freely in public or having to proclaim Him in secret and hiding!! I agree there is an important place for politics, in this world. But for me, in the grand scheme of things, it is utterly inconsequential to, with, for, or anything else to do with my spirituality. The two are on totally different planes. I will always feel able to proclaim my allegiance to Christ my precious Lord freely and openly, no matter the politics. Politics does not guide nor influence that for me. And when and if (in my lifetime, as God's plan unfolds) it comes time for "off with her head", so be it, and I pray that will be my defining moment in Him. All the political contests in the world do not compare to that. ![]()

![]() I applaud and share your commitment and willingness to boldly proclaim your faith regardless the circumstances. It truly speaks volumes to your character as a Christian! God Bless you!! My Point is that living in a nation that was founded in large part for the freedom to do that doesn't have to come to having to die for your faith if we do our part in participating and securing that freedom to future generations. God and lost souls is always the chief concern of course!! Grace, like water, always flows downward, to the lowest place. Amazing Grace!!

Here, here!! I applaud and share your commitment and willingness to boldly proclaim your faith regardless the circumstances. About this nation and freedom, yes, I agree, founded to escape persecution, which manifested in certain freedoms. I'm happy and blessed for that, and of course participate. I give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's. However, my treasure is in Heaven with Him. Until then, I feel joyous in His creation here. My comment about "off with her head", or as you put it, dying for my faith, is more about the possible eventuality, because I think His plan may unfold that way and I am just ready either way. I don't feel free to proclaim Him because I have a death wish, I feel free to do so because He commands it and He is my rock and foundation. I am released from the worries of physical death. It is not for me to worry about. No law of man affects that. If something happens to me because of it, He's got me. It's just that simple to me. Do I feel scared sometimes? Of course. I take it to Him. Do I have moments of frustration? Of course. I take it to Him. He is in control, that is the only thing I can take to the bank, and the only thing I have no doubt of whatsoever. The only thing I think as important as gaining souls for Him, is the care we must take to not lose souls. Enough of my rambling! Carry on Saints!! ![]()

Obama is neither black nor white. Or you could say he's both. But he's not just one or the other. What I also find interesting is that the media reports what percentage of white people voted for Obama but they don't say what percentage of black/coloured people voted for him. The media is racist. By the way, belated congrats on your choice winning the USA election. Maybe this is supposed to happen (like it did here in Winnipeg for our mayoral race, where we previously had a gay mayor who not only forced his gay agenda on the city but also did many other major foolish things too, so the next time we replaced him with an integrous married heterosexual Jewish successful community oriented businessman) so that God's people would be moved into finally praying, not just politicing, for their leader(s)! Let me get this right (no sarcasm here) on your 2nd paragraph answer: Just over 50% of white people voted for McCain and about 77% of black/mixed people voted for him too? This nation lost the election. "God's will" a worthless cliche' that is used over and over. Mat 15 Mat 15:8 "All of you praise me with your words, but you never really think about me. Mat 15:9 It is useless for you to worship me, when you teach rules made up by humans." NO NO NO not God's will He is not choosing the leaders, we are. Wake up Christian America... God's choice is none of the above. 1Sa 8 1Sa 8:8 Ever since the day I rescued my people from Egypt, they have turned from me to worship idols. Now they are turning away from you. 1Sa 8:9 Do everything they ask, but warn them and tell them how a king will treat them. Racial some yes some no.. This so called historical election was corrupt and and won by those who trust in money, just as it says on our dollar. There are murders and thieves in the corrupt system. AS Mr Bush, a true American, leaves office and has true tears for this nation; we will suffer for the fools that voted blindly for blind ungodly leadership, And Mr Bush knows. Yes pray everyday, pray that God will intervene but His word says that He won't. We have chosen our king. WE are needing to repent as nation and seek Him in masses if we will see God turn His face toward our country. His wrath is not what He will do but what He will not do because we asked for a king. Your blind faith in the Republicans in too funny. Yes, the Democrats are all bad and horrible and the Republicans are great. Blame everything bad on the Dems even with a Republican President. Can't you see there's enormous fault on both sides? Do you not see any lying involved in the iraq War even now? Or that McCain is a globalist who wants to open borders, grant amnesty, continue the Security Prosperity Partnership that would change American borders and have us join a "League of Democracies" that would just be a prelude to one world government? Have you not seen the massive infringement on Constitutional rights done by Bush not to mention the BIGGEST expansion of government in American history?? Wow..... WAIT A MINUTE, all this discusion about Obama a first black President, Remember he is also white. He is not black or white. The whole of it all is we are all duped by this race thing. Why doesn't anyone seem to recognize that there is no truth in the whole thing. the media ran the election and created Obama, His first name is Barry and he wrote some books you should read. He doesn't like white folk so he never mentions he's part white and everyone forgot that.

You must be a friend of Dennis'..........because you don't have your facts right either. Facts? what facts are you refering to, about Obama, Ayers, Wright, ACORN, , hate in his own words (form his books), lies told on national TV, What facts do mean.. There are plenty of facts. He supports abortion and gay lifestyle, What Christian goes along with that? Geesh give it up and admit Obama is not the best blackman you can find is he? I have seen better. I don't really want to make color an issue but this election will stir it more than ever because that is all anyone is talking about.

Yes please get it straight........The 51% reflects the total popular vote ( not the white vote, or the mixed vote }. No one said anything about mixed but you. Heres how it was broken down: 61% white 230lack 11 0spanic - for both - for Obama only - for McCain only ...approximately what percentage of hispanics voted (not for both but rather for each)? The same question applies to blacks, and separately to whites. I'm sorry if I didn't make my question clear the other time. You're correct. Dennis has put his faith in the Republican party ( and can't take the lose ); he is a true hard core Republican. He's been blinded by them and can't see the forest for the trees. Sure the Democrats are no better, and our hope shouldn't be in Obama to save this country. Only God can save this country.........NO POLITICAL PARTY !!!!

As far as American politics go, God has narrowed it down to two choices. The ones who are duped are the ones who can't see. they are following blind leaders because of blindness. If you can't see that the Republican party protects our rights as citizens, protects our country, protects prosperity, and most importantly protects the lives of babies. You may not agree with all the things the party does, nor do I but you must be able to see past the human side of the choices. It is clear if you have eyes to see. Get the right party in place and then fix the party.. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 1 Cor. 2: 7

God has brought up kings just to bring them down, over and over again. Simply stated, I did not vote for Obama because of his viewes on abortion and same sex marriage. Apparently you don't understand the rule.......anything " mixed " with black is black. On the other hand anything " mixed " with caucasian gets a special classification; like asian and caucasian = Eurasian. There are no special classifications for blacks mixed with anything. Obama wasn't my choice, neither was McCain. The media did say the percentage of blacks it made up about 230f the total. What "rule" are you talking about? What is Mulatto then? An ice cream? LOL! Are you saying it's different whether it's the mom or the dad black or white? However, just to keep on the neutral platform, Obama said it clearly and concisely: "The U.S. is for ALL, white, black, yellow, red... " you name it. And yes, still "someone" didn't get the message... Or like the other "Steve" uses to say: Now I got it... now I didn't... ---> need a cut:
