Well folks, I decided in retrospect, and in acknowledgement of proper behavior, to NOT attend the above Bible study. At very least, I want to be an approachable neighbor, and not one who engages in bickering, which I regret. Bible study or not, I would like to be able to exchange pleasantries with even the most difficult neighbor, although that is not possible if I sense evil. I'd rather avoid conflict, for example the Bible says... to have no occasion with them.

"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them." Romans 16:17

"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them." Ephesians 5:6-7

I wound up having to apologize to that neighbor who hosts the study. And I likely should apologize to the bitchy one too, for my own failure of curbing my tongue.

Just who wants to be on guard all the time like that? I told my sister about the study, and mentioned you gotta trust somebody. Yet God says Full Armor, folks. Honestly, the world is weird out there, and it makes me want to become a concealed carry because of illegal persons committing crimes in our once-beautiful California town... all around us, gangs gangs gangs. It's suffocating, I'm a senior and a widow. I'm still sharp with no felonies, and am considering self-protection.
