Scamming

She (he) is 20 years younger than you. Says they are looking for that Godly person. YAY! Bait, hook, line, sinker.

I'm sharing this because even as careful as oyu can be - God is the only hope to keep you from being scammed.

My last person made the mistake of sending me an email intended for someone else to me. It was a duplicate copy of one I received a day earlier. Just the name was changed.

So - do we give up? That would be playing into the plan of the enemy.
Do we LEARN? Yup, trusting God and asking for his light and wisdom are 'essential'.

Here are a few tips.
* Unless they are typing in Spanish, or some other language, they should be able to string together English that does not seem labored or contrived.
*Pictures are a key too. If they seem too good to be true - they are
*IMMEDIATE attachment. "You are the one I've been looking for". Sounds good but they do not even really know you yet.
*LONG DISTANCE - if you cannot meet them, say farewell or if they really are hones, make a friend and prayer partner.
*BIG CITY - NYC, LA, and Chicago are good places to say you are from, easy to hide and often far from the person they target.

I'm only offering words of advice. I'm hoping to prevent just ONE hurt or even worse, someone getting their entire bank account emptied on top of great hurt.

We know sin entered the world through one man. we also know through one man it is dealt with. That God) man also sent us a counselor, the Holy Spirit. Remain in the vine and keep looking. Ask, Seek, Knock - it will be opened up to you!

Shalom

Hi Sojourner

and welcome here at BC Blogs.

Your Post didn't show up at the "Recent Posts List" probably because nobody wrote a comment here.

It's a BC glitch and you will find out there are probably more glitches here. You can choose to re-post your Posts when it happens or just write a comment yourself.

RockyG666 has the same problem (RockyG666) and so do meow33744 ([blog meow33744]). They have posts at their Blog not shown at the "Recent Posts List".

Besides that thanks for the advice and informations given. You can find other Posts here with further information.

Blessings
