I think there's a place for TV evangelists (good ones that is) as there are a lot of people who cannot get to church for one reason or another, wheelchair bound, sick, no car etc. But in saying so Heb 10 says do not give up the habit of meeting together, it should never be a substitute for fellowship (like chat instead of meeting face to face) and communal worship, prayer etc. We also have to use our discerment on who we watch. "Beware of those who pedel the gospel for their own profit ...." It has it's place as long as they are true to Christ.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

    Quoting  :

The quote is from 2 Peter 2:3, the New Century Version states "Those false teachers only want your money, so they will use you by telling you lies. Their judgment spoken against them long ago is still coming, and their ruin is certain." King James Vesion says, "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." You can check the other versions online. I remember it for some reason as 'pedal the gospel for their own profit, not sure where I got it (possibly a commentary), but it basically means the same thing.

Judgement Day will be interesting.
