jesus' transfiguration III (per moody radio open line)

I heard back from moody radio about Jesus' transfiguration, and actually listened to the response. open line radio did not add anything that we have not discussed here before: Dr. Micheal Rydelnik basically said what urban said, that the disciples probally heard them talking to each other and discerned who was who from that.

the good Dr. also said that moses and Elijah were there FROM heaven, and did not even address the biblical imperative that they were asleep until jesus called them to heaven when he returned. he also went on to say that the three disciples that were invited to the transfiguration, were the closest to jesus. they were the inner circle of his inner circle. I think katydid actually implied that, but her answer was SO long, I kinda glazed over before I got through it all.

I have always had a hard time with thinking that we were NOT in heaven when we die. that we are asleep until jesus comes again. I do NOT like thinking that some people make it to heaven right away, but that others have to wait? even if it is moses and Elijah only. why are they special?

I was hoping for a huge biblical revelation. this Dr. Micheal Rydelnik guy is usually a pretty good bible answer man. I listen to his show every Saturday. this is one of the worst answers I have ever heard him give.

by the by, mr bond. how about THIS picture??

Just had another thought about the transfiguration. God often has witnesses for what He does. Perhaps He had witnesses from both Heaven and on earth for some reason before the crucifixion? I've heard a sermon a long time ago where it was said they talked with Him to strenghten Him before His ordeal. I dont really know though. Just mulling over it.

Judgement Day will be interesting.
