the continuing courtroom drama unfolds
to my supporters (and detractors), I went to court in Skokie this morning and I am still free. I have been arraigned.

the case is continued until next month.

 it is a class 9 felony in Illinois to make 911 threats.

 no, I din't know it was a jailable thing.

I called for help, and they blew me off. I said "what if I had a gun?"

that is different. the law is against making false calls for reasons of spreading terror. not a sick anxious old man pleading with police to come.
