What Goes On in the Gangway, STAYS in the Gangway

It is my birthday tomorrow and i am buying a bottle of rum and some beer for open mic tonite. we just have to keep it out of the church. we have karaoke now too, and everything on the stage is digitally recorded.

we have house electric & acoustic guitars, a bass, keyboards, electronic drum kit, tamborines and an air guitar. we have purposely given away all of our accordians and banjos.

you can sing and play your own stuff, or karaoke, or play along with karaoke, or just talk smack on the mic. whatever floats your boat.

just no hate or violence. come for free alcohol and stay for the music. please perform responsibly.

Gods Garage,(near grand¢ral)
Open Mic EVERY Friday Nite, 7 – 10:30 (and later tonite 7/11)

right. i was 39 until today. thanks pete.

a few people showed up, but nobody drank any beer. i have two full cases in the basement fridge. i dented a fifth of anejo rum. that is the first time i have had a drink in 4 or 5 years.

that is the first time i have seen bacardi anejo in 10 years. they quit making it and just call it bacardi black now. i haven't even seen bacardi black in a while, but i haven't been looking. this little liquor store had ONE bottle of anejo, it must have been on the shelf forever.

the best thing about good booze is that it doesn't hang you over. i drank a LOT and feel fine this morning.
