My response to an abortion post on another site.

In ancient times people worshiped through various religious orgies. The fathers of these unwanted were often unknown. The were sacrificed by throwing them into the hot arms of their god Molech. They were cremated alive. Drums would beat loudly to drown out the screams while the died. That was ancient abortion, unwanted through fornication. God judged that and wiped out those that committed it and people wonder why God wiped out some nations. More to the point, wouldnt you wonder why if He didnt? 3,000 abortions a day? He wont remain passive much longer. Judgement will come for this.

Today it's similar, unwanted can be sacrificed younger still. The unheard screams of a in the womb will be heard by the Creator. Judgement will come.

Some say, "How dare you tell a woman what to do with her body!?"
It's not her body she's sacrificing, it's her or 's.

I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born. - Ronald Reagan.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

What goes around comes around. Heartless people will have an eternity to dwell on their actions

Judgement Day will be interesting.

In 1979 I had 3 abortions. This was a form of birth control; I knew not better, my life was a hot mess. One year later I gave my life to Christ. I believe that Jesus has forgiven me, and I hope that you, Urban, will forgive me as well.

Of course I forgive you. You did it in ignorance, your past was forgiven when you gave your life to Christ. How could I not forgive when the parable of the servant who was forgiven much and did not forgive the other who owed him little? It was the unforgiving servant that was cast into prison. That's a warning for us not to condemn another (unless they continue in sin). God is the judge and when He forgives you are forgiven. David was forgiven and this was when he deliberately sinned, not ignorantly and was still called a man after God's own heart.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

Yes they do and it's terrible and very sad. They are innocent and need all the protection they can get.

Yes Urban, and my story is the main reason why I opted never to have children, because I inherently knew that I'd not be the best mom.

And yet, here I am in my latter years, not unlike you as a grandpa, adoring my grand-niece. I want a second chance to show love to even extended family, which is why I've legally rearranged things so that my responsible niece will handle all affairs and disbursements if I were to pass away. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm now poised to do things better... better late than never, right?

No matter what our past, when we walk in obedience with God it's a new start. I'm still amazed at the thief on the Cross next to Christ. He didnt have a chance to begin a new life yet was taken at that point of repentance. What mercy.

If only all women would see that. Yes, you have a right to your body, but that child is not your body. it's another person. Such a shame we continue to allow this.
