A Positive List For You

Make a list of your very best points. A lot of the time we are our own worst enemies. Sometimes that little voice that lives deep inside of us is our worst enemy! I have chatted with many people not only here but on other sites and what I hear are the negatives of why things are the way they are in their lives.
Would you put up with any friend who criticizes you constantly about your weight and your appearance? I don't think so.
A good plan to avoid this enemy is to make a list of the things that you like best about yourself.

For instance...
"I know I have a nice smile.
Everyone thinks I have a great sense of humor. I have my Father's beautiful brown eyes. I am very loyal. My co-workers know how dependable I am."

Post this list to a place you visit often. (The refrigerator) It will remind you that even though you are not as slim and trim as you would like to be, you are making positive steps toward your goal. And maybe this list will keep you from opening the refrigerator door.
Feeling good about yourself, no matter what stage of weight you might be, is the best step you can take toward your weight loss goal. Here's to slimming down and feeling great! To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice your gift!

May the Lord bless you and keep you

Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

It's very hard to follow this commandment if you don't love yourself to begin with. Sometimes the loving yourself part is harder than the loving your neighbor part.

Ephesians 6:13 . . .and having done all, to stand
