Happy New Year My BC Family As I sit here at the end of another year of my life that has passed me by and reflect back, I choose to look back at the positive things that have happen this past year and to not dwell on the negative things. I have never really been close to my family or the members in it. That was one of the reasons for moving so far away from them and starting over. I have one close friend in this area and I have my church family that knows me but I am not really close to any of them, then I have you all here at BC, some I have had the pleasure of meeting in person and many of you I have gotten to know over the years I have been blogging on here, life is great in my view. Just this year alone, the Lord gave me another year to live on this awesome planet that He calls Earth. I got to share my ups and downs with you here at BC through my blogs and through yours. We prayed for one another and blessed one another and some were kind enough or had the means to send us gifts and cards. I got to celebrate the birthdays of all my this year. My youngest moved back to the states from England so I get to spend a lot more quality time with her then I have had the pleasure to do in the last couple of years. After a 2 year battle I finally got Charie over here in the states. After a 3 and half year battle with the state, I got to adopt my grandchildren. We all moved into our new home after completing all the requirements through Habitat for Humanity. The Lord wasn't done yet as He blessed me with my first baby boy at the end of the year. Oh I am so blessed, just wish I could stop crying long enough to finish this blog before the New Year rings in, hahaha. So with just a few minutes to go before the New Year rings in and I walk around my house. I find Shane and Skye sleeping on their mattresses on the floor, in the hallway, as I promised them they could camp out there when their new brother got home, hahaha, better then camping outside in the cold, hahaha. I go to the bedroom and find Charie and the baby sleeping in the bed. All were going to watch the fireworks with daddy but Mr. Sandman has beat them to it, hahaha. So for you my BC family my New Year wishes for you are: I wish you Health. So you may enjoy each day in comfort. I wish you the Love of friends and family. And Peace within your heart. I wish you the Beauty of nature. That you may enjoy the work of God. I wish you Wisdom to choose priorities. For those things that really matter in life. I wish you Generosity so you may share. All good things that come to you. I wish you Happiness and Joy. And Blessings for the New Year. I wish you the best of everything. The New Year has been here for some hours now, Bill, but I did want to tell you that I hope it is a wonderful, blessed one for you and your family. It was great to hear of all the things I missed this past year. Belated Congratulations on the adoption, your daughter's return to the states and all the rest. I hope that you know how very, very precious you are to me and I am sure to many others here at BC, my dear brother. I too, know what you mean by not being close to your birth family. I thank God daily for the family that I have found here. And since the adoption has finally gone through, I guess I now have four surrogate grandchildren! PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I'll take them all!!!!!
