URGENT....prayer needed for mama..... My mama in the last 3 months has been in the hospital twice for pnuemonia, then re-hab for 5 weeks for swallowing therapy as her esophagus and windpipe are battling on which direction the food should go. This last week her temp went from 98.5 to 102.8 in a matter of ten minutes so we rushed her back to the hospital. She was immediately admitted and was put into ICU. She was released from ICU Sunday and put into a private room, one hour later we were told she has MRSA, a viral bacterial infection. They began treatment for this and now today they are telling us she has c-diff, an intestinal bacteria infection that can be life threatening, especially for her since she had 3 auto-immune diseases. Please, please join with me in prayer for her. She is a very strong Christian woman and is ready to make her journey home, in fact she is tired and wants to go. I am not ready to lose her just yet as she has been my rock, but I am also willing to accept whatever God has planned for her. I just don't want her to be in pain. First let me say thank you to each of you for the prayers, and I told mama this afternoon that I had asked for prayer and she also said thank you. I have just been on the phone with my sister and with the hospital. It seems that the infection is a bit worse and they are now moving her back to the ICU to isolate. Mama has never been scared but tonite she told my sister and I that she is afraid, and that is breaking our hearts. Much love to you all...Marianne FAITH...Even when I can't see, I still believe.
