 update. The virus only seems to try to attack when I'm on the blogs or logging in. I haven't got knocked off yet when in chat. Wonder why???

 This is probably just a false virus in the form of an exit popup. I think if you click on the fix you get the virus. If you simply close out the window (x), you'll be okay.

 Don't take my word for it, but if it's the flashing alert that says you've been affected, that's the one I'm referring to. Just exit out of the window without clicking on anything besides the X to get out.

 sounds very sinister. i had the so-called 99 dollar viruses but my pc worked fine the next time i restarted. i wonder if it's a conspiracy by legitimate companies to make people buy something. hmmm. i'm always on to things lol.

 I've noticed all the warnings Jesus4me so I absolutely loaded myself up with AVG! It seems to be working for me. It certainly seems to block attacks and I've noticed that the pop-up ads. don't always come on. Sometimes they're blanked out.....suits me just fine!!

That is the one I'm talking about. Everytime it attacks my computer blocks it and shuts the page down. Which means it's working but it doesn't allow for me to be on here very long.

The virus holds your computer hostage and makes you pay blackmail to get rid of it. My boss recommends that you don't pay them ANYTHING, there are programs that will get rid of it. Paying doesn't get rid of it only causes more problems.

No virus here. I got the flu shot early and was sick. Not even a sniffle since and it seems to have worked against the swine flu also.

 Interesting. I've clicked on it before on another website, so I know enough not to click on this one. For some reason, my antivirus program blocks the popup. I only saw it once, and now assume it's forever on the delete list. I can still use the page.
