That was indeed amazing. Beautiful music and beautifully choreographed. I have never heard of her before. Thanks.

I had to listen to some more of her work. Here are the ones on Shenandoah....a song done often in bluegrass circles...*S*...you did good....

N5grgB-dV2o
IDkFG44AXwU

Oh Shenandoah,
I long to hear you,
Away you rolling river,
Oh Shenandoah,
I long to hear you,
Away, I'm bound away
'Cross the wide Missouri.

Oh Shenandoah,
I love your daughter,
Away you rolling river,
I'll take her 'cross
Your rollin' water,
Away, I'm bound away
'Cross the wide Missouri.

'Tis seven years,
I've been a rover,
Away you rolling river,
When I return,
I'll be your lover,
Away, I'm bound away
'Cross the wide Missouri.

Oh Shenandoah,
I'm bound to leave you.
Away you rolling river,
Oh Shenandoah,
I'll not deceive you.
Away, I'm bound away
'Cross the wide Missouri.

I guess I may be overdoing this, but here is that song by Connie Dover....she sings celtic...a little more earthy than Sissel. The scenes in this video are similar to some you use.

hello Brister....*S*...this is just our way of warring...

no you don't have to go to those links...but I was impressed with Mary Ann's discovery. I guess I should have watched the Titanic, huh...???

oh, and those first ones that I gave you of the Isaacs...they cut a CD over in Norway recently...it is shown on Gaither's shows occasionally.

Hey, here's a Swedish girl of great format. She also sings gospel songs.
I chose this one though 'cause it's another known beautiful song:

ItNW5zqBFq8

She was particular popular with a song called "Främling"... let me see....
---> BB goes back the the tube...

I found the version from 1983, live from the Eurovision Song Contest.
Hey, maybe it's better to hear this first.

YrLQQXr7d_E

I will have to browse a little and hear some other songs...

To God Be the Glory, is one of my favorites too, especially the Chorus part. The only minus I can't help to always notice is that the first few bars remind me of My Way (you know the Sinatra song) that actually is a French song.

I have one version taped with Andrae Crouch himself. On the tube I found this one:

0iZm9__sJL8

If I find a better version I will post it later. Who knows maybe Carola sang that too? Nice girl, huh? She has a "glimpse in her eyes"... or was it "glimmer"!!

Hey guys, look what I found: Proud Mary with Carola: even Eddie must like this one! LoooooL!

She is multifaceted and talented, huh? Hey Maryann, you wouldn't let Sissel sing that, would you??

This one I had never seen before. It's from 1977 - I think there she is about 11 y.o.

hello Brister...yes, I really liked Andrea Bocelli & Carola. I have known of him, but not her. If you like his music you might like Josh Groban....very similar, and very good.

I also liked hearing that language up front...Norwegian..????

Hadn't been here!! Ha, you're becoming a Carola Fan? LOL!

The song is titled "Who can love me?" The third last comment had some more words in English.

What specifically sounded weird in Proud Mary? The i's like ee's ? Other vowels? Give me some cues and I'll listen to that again!

PS: You spelled "Whisper" wrong in the title!
