If you haven't seen this on Tv you can key in the above on utube and find a series of videos about what takes place at this event. such as placing RYgrp4i5JpA after the ='s mark in the address. If you look at the people, and there are hundreds each week, then you will see how all of the people look just like ordinary people that you would run into any day of the week. The 'pastor' does not fit the mold of a charismatic although he is a very good speaker. There is nothing in me towards making fun of this or them. My curiosity is that this event has made it to TV evangelism status and there appears to be no 'acting' going on. And yet, I see very little in what they do or say that aligns with the word for our day, but I admit some truth is preached there. It seems to be somewhere between Benny Hinn and Jerry Springer. Drifter. I hope you dont mind me saying this, but the truth is that in these last days, the sooner we get to 'the end' when Jesus comes, the more "Religious Revivals" there are going to be, at least SO-CALLED Revivals. Remember these key things.... 1. The Bible says there will be false miracles 2. The Bible says there would be people who will come to Jesus saying 'we did many wonderful things, we cast out demons, we did this and that, we taught in your streets' but Jesus will say, Depart from Me, I never knew you. 3. The Bible says they would all be of 'one mind' worshipping the Beast. But these people are thinking they worship GOD. 4. Jesus said Why do you call Me 'Lord. Lord', but ye do not what I SAY? There are SO MANY different warnings all over the place, 'some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing doctrines of devils'... Its not going to be OBVIOUS that these people arent worshipping the True God of Heaven and Earth, the Creator. Satan will come "as an Angel of Light". And with the HUGE PUSH toward the Ecumenical Movement (becoming of 'one mind' there becomes NO LINE DRAWN between true and false worship. If people could just realize what is really going on. At these World Council of Churches and World Parliament of Religions gatherings, there's Christians uniting with Wiccan Witches, Pagans, Islam, you name it. The ONLY 'SIN' according to them? Is to refuse to UNIFY. Here God is calling people to SEPARATE themselves from Baal Worship, 'Touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you unto Myself for what concord (unity) does Christ have with Baal?' Thats what the Bible says. AT ANY RATE, all that glitters isnt gold. THE WORD OF GOD will be our only safety. Thats what God gave it to us for, not only so that we could be built up into the people we are designed by God to be, but also as a detector of ERROR. SO Satan is busily getting 'Christians' to toss out their Bibles and to just go by 'feelings'. I mean, how "unloving" of us not to want to UNITE with everyone! Thats the sentiment. Iknow the Program you are talking about--I;ve watched it many times--it used to be called the Toronto Blessing---I have aproblem with it somewhat--but they are praising the Lord--just the gyrating and other manifestations bother me a little--I know many who know this Pastor and wife and froma ll accounts they really are the real meal deal--they simply beleive when the Spirit moves let the people move with it lol---Marcus and Joni did a poll to see if it bothered anyone becasue they were willing to tremove the Program and they got a resounding NO--keepit on--so if it is ministering to people then I guess let it be--but it;s not my flavor!!! Excuse me--it;s a offshoot of the toronto Blessing--back in the 1990's!!!

No...I don't mind at all. As you may know I have mentioned in posts myself some of the potential of the 'end times scenario'...to give it a label. And I think Mathew 24:24 is significant "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible even the elect." You mentioned "The Bible says they would all be of 'one mind' worshipping the Beast. But these people are thinking they worship GOD." One mind very well describes their 'crowd' synchronicity. And yet, they look like very nice sincere people for the most part. Even the preacher doesn't appear as though he is trying to deceive anyone. It is fascinating to watch. For one thing, his preaching isn't designed or obsessed with having funds sent to him by manipulating scriptures like so many tv evangelists do. God and Jesus are mentioned often and praised. Don't get me wrong...I am not being swayed...I just don't know how to pigeonhole it so to speak. Somehow I've learned how to listen to the sound of the sun going down. ~ R. Crowell

I have not seen the program. If Jesus Christ is being preached, I rejoice!! Their motive; I do not question. I do ask all those that would question them: How many millions of people are hearing the good news of Jesus Christ by your ministries? I am a prophet of the Lord God Almighty the Father of Jesus Christ.

I've felt it in my own spirit, the pressure to conform to a leader's teaching in order to line up with everyone else when I know in my own spirit that it's not right. Even if we later learn that the person is right, we have a responsibility to be yoking to God and the light he gives, not to the masses. We unite in the true spirit of God as God takes us there, not as man ushers us into unity.

hello longing... yes,...one thing that is fascinating to me is how plausible many things will be to get the deed done and then to find out that there is more to it. For instance, it makes a lot of sense to have identification on many things such as livestock, cars, and even people. There are many very good and useful uses for that. And I suspect the 'mark' will be 'sold' to the people on those things. Even with our own government, it seems, in looking over its history, that there have been a steady increase to get more and more people on its roles....Pensions, social securtiy, welfare, various programs and grants. So, dependency is being created. There could be a point where that dependency will have a big price to each person. And altho America is not exactly 'ruled' by one man, the stage is being set for that to happen as well as the world. That phrase 'that even the elect be deceived' is one to pay attention to...I think. Somehow I've learned how to listen to the sound of the sun going down. ~ R. Crowell

oh yes....about testimonies that I see on that program and elsewhere.... I know many are given with good intent and from a good heart and with much thanksgiving to God. However, I also see many that amount to the person grabbing his or her 15 minutes of fame....and sometimes it is also to give credit to a human as opposed to God. When one finally makes that decision to come to God and received forgiveness several things happen....they immediately have a clear conscience which is very uplifting in having that 'load' removed from them. They then also have a purpose and meaning added to their lives that they did not have before. And even though they may not know where that road will take them they will know it is a valid one.....and that becomes a 'solid rock' that they can stand on.....again a very substantial event in their life. And I can see where these 'good things' can be very moving to someone. But I just don't see the mass hysteria and total loss of control that is presented in those situations as a trait exhibited by the multitudes of the early christians that received the spirit. And it is not that I am questioning the motives of the individuals or the organization ...I haven't got to that point yet. We all have a right to question the source of the 'how and why' we are being persuaded on matters of faith as well as anything else....in fact we are admonished to. Well back in about 1994--there was an outpouring of the Spiirt in Toronto--and they called it the Toronto Blessings--att he Airport Vineyard Church there--in a nutshell drifter--it was a real move of God as far as I can tell--MY Pastor and Wife went up there and said they saw real fruit from it--despite the manifestations etc--it brought thousands nightyly from around the world--well--it ended in late 1990's--but there are stilll snippits of it around the country!! In toronot--they have a meeting only once a week now--pretty much back to church as usual--there was the Brownsville Revival in Florida--came and went--now this one--which began in a small town of smithton--they grew so large they moved to Kansas city!! Ok my feeling is--the ark has moved up the road but these people refuse tomove with it!! The lord does send wonderful seasons of refreshing--in our walk with him and that;s what these movements were--but once they are over--time to move on--instead these ones have camped at the movement and refuse to move on!! Sad;y when that happens you see flesh and not alot of Spiirt--what began as something wonderful has turned into as you so aptly put it a cross between Hinn and Springer--in the end sadly I dont see much fruit--Iplaced a blog about this --the hyper charasmatic goose bump Christianity--that--when trials come these precious ones wont have aleg to stand on because they are not grounded in the word!!! Steve...no, there is no new mail....and I have been checking more often. hmmmmm Actually, she deserves a great deal of credit and I have often thought of saying more about this. But I know, and knew, that it would be a source of added distraction to the overall situation. I actually do like to discuss certain types of things here along the lines of 'faith' and 'interpretation' of some of the confusing things. But I realized early on that the mix here wasn't right and the atmosphere wasn't conducive to that. So Plan B. You have seen me say many times that "there is room for everyone" and encouraged you and her and otheres to stay. That doesn't mean that I think there is room for some of the 'bickering' type things. These need to go in order to have room for open speaking. Even if one thinks someone else is wrong, how can you convey that if you run them off...??? It just doesn't make sense. And then there is the very real possibility that they can 'teach' us a thing or three... I think that there has actually been some improvements along those lines and I think you definitely had a hand in it. When you speak seriously you move people....and make more than a few 'dead on' statements yourself.... Thanks for chiming in here... I think the topic was how cute Claudia is ..or was...or will be...one of those...I ferget... Try again on the e-mail and I will be checking.... Can you tell me why some christians, not all thankfully, put God in their little boxes they think He cant possibly do what I cant get my head around. News for you: He can.... Who can understand the ways of the Lord, his ways are not are ways, neither are His thoughts like our thoughts, as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are His ways higher than ours. If God wants to shake, rattle and roll lol his people then bring it on Lord, what ya think happens when the Holy Spirit hits frail human flesh. People in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost thought the disciples were totally drunk, ever seen a drunk, he doesnt act like someone sober. Paul says dont get drunk on wine, but instead be filled with the Spirit, drawing a parallel between both states. I have been drunk, very drunk, on the Spirit and I know that all times, God has been doing something in me and through me. The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength. Out of our inmost being will flow rivers of living water... love, joy, peace etc etc. Dont look on the outward appearance, but test the fruit. Toronto Blessing - just another gracious outpouring of his Spirit. 1. Changed lives (our minister was radically changed), he had been adopted as a child and now knows God as his father. He now has a ministry of teaching about the Gods Fathers Heart for his children. 2. Fruit of the Spirit - people changed who have struggled for years with issues healed and delivered producing the fruit the Father wants to produce in his people to make us more like Jesus. 3.The Fire of God to evangelise and seek out and save the lost. 4.The Anointing of God to heal the sick and raise the dead 5.The Glory of God - His manifest presence so that we will look forward to being with our heavenly Father for ever. 5. The power of God to overcome temptation, the world and the enemy. 6.The Spirit of Sonship - to truly know and experience God as the Father 7.The Restoration of the joy of our salvation 8.The Joy of the Lord to help us overcome in this evil and miserable sin-filled world. 9.The Blessings of the Lord to enable us to prosper in every circumstance. 10.The Revelation of the Word of God to enable us to get the word from our heads into our hearts. 11.Dreams, visions and giftings from the Holy Spirit - this is the fruit of REVIVAL. This is the fruit of the outpouring in Wales (1904 & 1907), Azusa Street, Isle of Lewis (Scotland), East Timor, Brazil, Argentina, China, Malaysia, Toronto, Pensacola, Lakeland (Florida), Kansas City, Dudley (Manchester),and back again to Wales (200  -Halleuljah.There are no false Revivals, only false prophets. hello Maria...thanks for coming by and contributing... I hope you noticed that I was careful not to criticize them or any related group or event. The line of thought you present is part of what the Bible teaches of God. There is another part as I mentioned what I wrote above... "And it is not that I am questioning the motives of the individuals or the organization ...I haven't got to that point yet. We all have a right to question the source of the 'how and why' we are being persuaded on matters of faith as well as anything else....in fact we are admonished to." There, in World Revival Services, were several things contrary to some of the New Testament admonitions regarding the 'church'....thus my inquiry. Again, thanks for contribuiting....
