As I have discovered after joining a number of dating sites , they are ripe for the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ .
I have used these sites to proclaim Jesus Christ , so come on lets get on with it brothers and Sisters .
Remember do not be yoked with an unbeliever ,what has darkness and light in common .

The way that I see it is that with all of the errors being taught here, its nearly worse for an Unbeliever to come here than it would be if they didnt. Who wants to start their Christian walk off on a bunch of falsehoods? Then it takes years to undo the damage, if it even CAN BE undone.

Mt:23:15: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

The way of most 'Christians' here is to say that "all we must do is believe" and we are on our way to heaven. Thats just the modern day version in the reverse of the Pharisees who taught that you are to keep the Law but they set about to undermine it at every turn. They didnt really want a CHANGED LIFE. Anything but THAT. Today its 'Only Believe' and Unbelievers arent STUPID, they can see and realize that w worldly Christian isnt any different than they are. I cant tell you how many people Ive had tell me that so-called 'Christians' who teach this 'only believe' yet act like the common worldling... are the biggest turn-off to them you can imagine,...

...that turns them off and the idea that God burns people in Hell forever and ever; which is ALSO a lie, if one actually studies the Scriptures as they are supposed to be studied. The Bible clearly calls Hell THE SECOND DEATH... not eternal life in Hell. And the Bible clearly teaches that the wicked will be ashes ... burned up... no more to be found.

A place like this can make CONFIRMED INFIDELS out of many people who might never be able to be reached again.

Ti:2:14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity

Erm..... maybe I have not made it clear but what I said was or what I am proposing is for Christians to join secular dating sites and communicate the gospel to those using those sites . I know it works I am doing it spreading the word amongst the tax collectors and sinners .

Good for you Gen! You go!

And Claudia, don't sell God short. There as always been error everywhere, but God's sheep know His voice. He will not lose even one. He does the work in hearts, not ppl.

Gen, it doesn't matter where we are. God is always able to speak to the listening heart. We are the aroma of Christ wherever we go if we abide, and whosoever will may come.

It's encouraging to hear that you are active in your ministry.

Phillipians 1:6 springs to mind .

Philippians 1:6 (New American Standard Bible)

6For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until (A)the day of Christ Jesus

Perfection does not land straight away we are shaped and moulded and we need to obey .

Excellent. I had been commonly stated that the world is our mission field-but the laborers are few. God Bless you for entering into the Lord's work.

Hello Steve
Lovely post! We have to be a ray of light to those who need to find the way.
I tried it with my ex, but, that was seed sowed on rocky soil. In fact, he tried to dissuade me from my faith, but God would not have it, he placed a rift between us so that I could be spared. I took my cue from there.
Even though i've met some lovely Christians, half-Christians and getting there typa Christians, i'm ever so wary of how i fit into the bigger scheme of things, so i take one step at a time and hopefully, something will give, somehow, somewhere, someday.
i know some people who claim to be christians but are as far from God as any other who do not claim to be Christian. What am I meant to think? All I know is, God is Love, everything begins and ends with Love, and its the most powerful thing we will ever experience...so, I'll put my trust in Love, for God is Love.
blessings 2 u steve x
