While we where yet sinners Christ died for us. What does that mean to you? Think about it, would you do anything for someone who has been indifferent, uncaring, or down right rude to you? Praise God for His Grace. What now? Well, I think it should be a Life for a Life. We need to stop telling people that if they pray and receive Christ as their personal Savior they will be happy. God did not call us to Happiness, but to Joy. "God wants me to be happy" mediocre Christians cry out. I hate to disappoint you, but God called us to Holiness, not Happiness. "Be Holy as I am Holy". Look at the life of Paul, he says we are to share in the fellowship of Christ's sufferings. That the sufferings that we suffer now is nothing in comparison to the Glory we will see in heaven. There are levels of heaven and hell. Where will you be, shining shoes, or someone's pool boy? |
