The heart of a child is the most precious of God's creation. Never break it. At all costs, never break it. -- Joseph L. Whitten Children are a very precious and valuable commodity. In fact, God places such a high value on children, that He asks us to become as children. Children see the world through hearts that are fresh and innocent. They tell it like it is, they see things so much clearer than us grownups do. In fact I was reading a post of Marilyn's...things seen through the perspective of a child. It just filled my heart...this raw innocence and childlike wonder. But when you break the heart of a child, unless that heart is healed, this heartbroken child will grow up into a heartbroken adult. And heartbroken adults can become destroyers.....not only to themselves but to others. Most of us carry scars from our childhood. It's horrible to feel childlike pain even as an adult. I still bear the scars of my childhood, and slowly God is teaching me how to combat my fears and to grow as an adult. There is no easy fix. Growing is painful, facing your fears, your giants are painful things....but they can be done. If we draw near to God, He will equip us and teach us. But before any of this can happen, we have to reach a point where we accept that there is a problem within us that needs His healing touch. And then, most importantly, we have to be open to whatever it is He requires us to do. There is no point saying to yourself, "I have pain from my childhood", if you are not prepared to allow God to fix it. Where to begin? Pray! Ask God to reveal the cracks that need mending....then listen for His still small voice. If you allow Him....He will lead you out of the mire and into spacious places. And He will uphold you with His righteous right hand...count on it! Crikey I just had a thought...I hope my bullying doesn't damage Dunky, Jeffy, Gary and the new kid! Penelope Captive of Hope

And would any of us ever listen to the words of a bully or would we accept the Christ she portrays is a BULLY also and to be shunned at whatever cost? Women wonder why they soon are reduced to a one time use. My My a lot for us to think on isn't there?

ms_warriorthingy replies on 11/12/2008 12:43 pm: "I deserve your anger, rugged.....please forgive me. I've written a public post asking your forgiveness. I was just playing..but you don't know me long enough to know that and I feel really bad" You do NOT owe me an apology nor do you need to do a post of such.. I will try to see if one has posted, and if so it should be removed as it is not necessary. I will try to write you a letter.. BUT what in the world to we do about my post above as I am not sure how we can remove it? I apologize for making it sound QUITE as forceful as it has.. BUT BUT BUT when one wants to play bully it is not good to not first make sure how the opponent will handle the competition. In other words, it is not good if we ever do not stand face to face with any and see if they will back down or if they are going to come on ahead full force. LOL .. Hun, I am not sure you and I are suited for the bully game.. maybe the humorous banter.. but not the bully. LOL Thank you for being you. Thank you for having a great heart and not getting all upset at my pushing back.. Hugs to you ..

Sweet Pen, I have so much joy in the Lord today, I just had to come in here and see you. And share this awsome joy with you! I just feel His joy so much today! I love His Word, Spirit, and what He's doing in mine and Thomas' life. It is so humbling. I love you Pen. Wanted to share with my bestest friend. Blessings, Thomas and Robin # "There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still" Corrie Tenboom

This was wonderfully written and just what I needed tonight. He can help us with our fear even if our fear shakes us to the core. Thank you.
