I've been spending some time this morning, writing my book. As I write, I find myself learning new things about me, about my relationship with God. I realise I lack in some areas, and also realise how much I have strengthened in other areas. I see the steady growth, despite all the tripping and falling, and I am filled with love for this Saviour who died on a cross for me! Today as I wrote, my mind was focussed on the fulfillment that comes from a close relationship with Jesus. We can search for fulfillment in things and people but it brings no lasting joy. We can travel the world, buy the very best of things, invest our time in hobbies and causes....but none of those things bring us the lasting joy our desperate hearts so desire. There is nothing more precious than spending time worshipping and praising God, talking with Him, soaking in His Word, basking in His love.....this is where true fulfillment lies. An active, ongoing relationship with Him brings about a harvest that our thirsty hearts could never fathom......joy that fills every part of your being....a knowing in your heart that THIS is where you want to be. Funny isn't it.....here I am sitting on this buoy, waiting for His leading into the places He wants me to go, the plans He has for me....perched eagerly, straining to hear His voice saying "fly now"....... Yet all the time, in this period of so called inactivity.... God is moving...God is working in me, through me...bringing about changes....teaching me new things...showing me hidden wonders....the tide is flowing....... When God asks us to "be still", it doesn't mean He is.....something to think about huh? One thing I know for sure as I sit here on my buoy....my fulfillment can only be found in Him. This is exactly where I want to be...in Him.  Penelope Captive of Hope

. . . Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Know? Yes? ? .

I not so sure the Lord is as concerned with where we go, but rather that we keep looking up! You learnin' there my dear. Let your gentleness be evident to all. Philippians 4:5
