A garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.... It's been a tough week, in a tough month, in a tough few months...a time of challenge, and I pray a time of growth...coz the result of tough times is always growth! This last week, a week of burdens to carry...the patient I love so dearly who is slowly losing her life. Another story I haven't shared...a five year old boy was horribly injured in a freaky road accident a few weeks ago, he lost his battle early last week. I found out a couple of days ago that he is the son of one of my favourite surgeons in the clinic. I worked for his mother a few years ago in another clinic and I have met little Will and even cuddled him. Too much sadness and too much bad stuff...I don't like it at all. There have been little blessings along the way...praise God, He is so good to me...I can't even begin to fathom the love He gives. But today is Monday, I am getting ready for work..it's a new week and this morning I prayed that no matter what, I may hold on to JOY. I already have that, deep in my heart, it never leaves me, hope never leaves me. This morning a song on my lips, I was singing it in the shower just now... keep up the faith Pen...hows your health doing? I hacve been praying for you and it has weighed on my mind. I used to work at a nursing home and within a couple of months...5 residents died...4 of which i was close too. It'a not easy to be in the health field but its rewarding to cers for others who cant care for themselves. lol I'm using capitol I's realized i'ts a non no here...just dont like to waste time with little things like that oh well!!! hope all is going well with you sister and I really enjoy your blogs...God is with you always.

I agree with Marilyn...Isaiah 51:11 "Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away." May God give you joy that cannot be taken away, not dependent on circumstances...may it bubble up and overflow from deep within. He is no fool if he should choose to lose the things he cannot keep to gain what he can never lose.....Jim Elliott Deena

Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Amen! God is good all the time!! I love saying that a variety of ways; "when is God good?" ALL THE TIME. God is good ALL the time. GOD is good all the time. God IS good all the time. The joy can be seen when you imagine this precious child in the arms of Jesus. The same with your other patients that are or have passed away. Have a wonderful week in the Lord, in HIS joy which follows obedience. eh....I hate to mention this....but I haven't heard you say anything about chocolates lately.....I've sorta layed off them too...that is if you don't count Milk Duds.
