Hi Everyone! I have been wanting to come back to the blogs for a while now, yet I have felt very strongly that God did not want me to come back. Each time I would give it serious thought, He would say "no". Little did I know that God was doing this to protect me. Because He loves me. Because He knew that there was something here that would hurt me, wound me. And it has. I disobeyed God, this amazing God that I love so much. He had me sheltered under the protection of His wing and He was healing the wounds that were causing me so much pain. God has reasons for saying no. He doesn't do that to harm us, but to protect us. He is the Good Shepherd, and He uses His rod and staff to keep us from straying into danger. But every now and then one of His lambs (that would be me) thinks she is wiser than He is, and she sets off alone out into the wilderness. And what does she find there? The wolf and he has very sharp claws, and teeth that are razor sharp. So this little lamb has been slashed at by the devil and the wounds that were healing are now open gashes and I am bleeding all over the green grass in the sheepfold. So what do I do now? Do I stay? do I run away again? I have no idea. All I do know is I want to serve my Lord, and I want to do it magnificently. I want to be an encourager to the wounded, I want to be a light to the lost, and to lead them to the Saviour. I want people to know that this God we serve is an amazing God. He takes nothing and makes it into something beautiful. He is the potter and we are the clay. Crafted by His Loving Hand. So while I wait for God to lead me, I will do my best to encourage and edify. I will share all He has done in me and through me just like I used to. And I pray that this will be pleasing to my Lord. ps in the last few days God has been leading me over and over again to Ps 34....... Psa 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psa 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Psa 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psa 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psa 34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. Psa 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Psa 34  The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psa 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psa 34:9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. Psa 34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Psa 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Psa 34:12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Psa 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Psa 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psa 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Psa 34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Psa 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psa 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Psa 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Psa 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. Psa 34:22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. |

Hey Penelope great to see your beautiful face around here again.... glad to hear all has been well down your way,I almost went to the beach there last Wednesday with the Grandsons and Christy but we ended up at Edithvale cold yes but great fun running along the golden sands and having hot chocolate drinks near the ocean....refreshing and cleansing for Ones Soul.....catchup soon okies... Welcome back Penelope...Psalm 34 has always been special for me. When I was a very young boy, R.G. Lee ate dinner at our house. I had a children's Bible (still have it) and he signed the inside cover and wrote Psalm 34. Years later during a difficult time in my life, I came across that Bible tucked away on a book shelf. I turned and read the scripture referenced by such an awesome man of God...and God's word, the 34th Psalm brought much needed encouragement to me.

Hey Sweetie Pie, You are such a brave warrior. It may not feel like it but you are. The more you step in the direction(s) that we don't want to go it makes us stronger. It takes the power away from the enemy and puts us right in the hand of the Master, where we find strength....AND everything else we need. I have been praying that you would be strong and strong in the Lord and LOOK here you are....hug, hug, kiss, kiss!!!! You know girlie you hit it right on with your own words.... I want people to know that this God we serve is an amazing God. He takes nothing and makes it into something beautiful. That IS YOU right now....you have laid yourself before the Lord with all your insecurities and stepped out in faith....God honors that and He is strong where we are weak. He never told us we had to be everything, He is our everything and ALL that we need in EVERY situation. (I know you know that.. )I know what a big step this is for you and my heart is jumping for joy!!!! It is also jumping for joy like so many others here to see your beautiful sweet smiling face again. You are being refined in the fire my sweet friend. It never feels good and is usually painful....but we come out cleaner, shiny, and renewed. Take hold of this new beginning and hold on tight to Father God's hand. I told you earlier I was crying with you, now I am crying again for you, to see you here, to see another victory WON!!! You go girl....take back everything the enemy (tried) to steal, peace, love, joy, happiness.

Welcome back Pen! Actually I never thought you had really left... maybe you were "on vacation in the desert" and got caught in a sandstorm? We surely are glad to have you back, "warrior"!!! Now keep on polishing the "full armor" daily, and never never again enter the battlefield and try to play "hero" without wearing it!! Do you hear? LOL! After all it's not our battle anyway, but His!  Very funny. No, it was not a banana related incident. The valve broke in the dishwasher that controls how much water goes into it when it's filling. So it filled then overflowed all over the kitchen. I couldn't stop it and I had to lie down in a puddle under the sink and turn the water off. There was a large puddle of water all over the kitchen. It took about ALOT of towels to mop it all up. Then I had the appliance repair guy come over and replace the valve. That was MY morning! So, you would like a picture that makes you look less like mother theresa? Coming right up!!

cool. i am the opposite way around so melancholy, yes the game of love is so cruel, a couple of things i realised are if a man loves you he will wait for marriage to honour a woman because he respects her, and that i need to find someone i can totally respect, his character have yet to find one who i can respect him because a book i am reading says thats what a man needs, more than love and woman are the other way around, yes there are so many players online, so tired also, bugs me when people can't be real, blessings Jo, i am so busier this year than any other year but more product also than any other year Goal wise, may own our own land soon, it will be soooooooo cool

Pen, you seem to have friends here a plenty who are very positive about you. There is a button here somewhere to ban the negative ones that hate sensitive people. I have used it several times for those who are deeply negative. Let peace and quiet rein. Enjoy your stay. I like BigChurch. Its quite a picture of the Church around the world, literally. There is one thing all of us Christians have in common from here, there, and everywhere, and that is Jesus. Its interesting to me that we all seem to have similar and interesting experiences with Him. Your sensitivity to Him is remarkable in my opinion.

Hey, I browsed the last few posts Corrie wrote over three months ago. She actually mentioned a lot of bloggers... But I don't think everyone has seen them. That's what happens when one stays away too long or doesn't comment the answers. In the beginning one checks and checks, then the post goes in the "oblivion box"! Therefore it would be "wise" to scatter/disseminate a line or even a "smiley". That would indeed show one is alive and well, no? Just a thought! Right Penny-pie???
