( Yet IF we did it the way JESUS SAID TO DO IT- We would AUTOMATICALLY be DOING IT CORRECTLY and NOT BE TOLD WE HAVE TO FOLLOW A SHYSTER WHO COULD NOT GET IT RIGHT. ) Then at the end of it we read that we are to PUT AWAY "childish things"... (And again- JESUS SAID JUST THE OPPOSITE. FOR OF SUCH -LITTLE CHILDREN_ IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. NOT GROWN UP SINNER ADULTS. ) and think THIS WAY instead, the way of Charity. (If ya do not FOLLOW JESUS AND ONLY JESUS YOU ARE BEING LED INTO SIN. Period. ) And so what then IS Charity? It means the SAME THING as Jesus said when He said "Be ye perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect, love those who dont love you back!" "THEN you will actually really be a child of the King! Because you will be REPRESENTING the King to the world!" Matthew 5:48 (BUT- IF YOU ARE NOT DOING EXACTLY WHAT JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT- IT'S EVERY WHIT USELESS AND PROFANE. JESUS SAID HE WILL BE SAYING DEPART TO ALL WORKERS OF INIQUITY EVEN IF THEY DID TRY TO LOVE THOSE WHO DON'T LOVE YA BACK. IF YER NOT DOING WHAT JESUS TOLD YA TO DO EXACTLY THE WAY HE TOLD US TO DO IT- Yer SINNING RIGHT FROM THE START AND THINKING YER HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS. Then HE- JESUS SURPRIZES YA AND SAYS DEPART AND CALLS YA A SINNER TO YER FACE AFTER YA DIE AND CAN NOT CHANGE THE SINS YER BEING TOLD TO DEPART FOR. ) In other words to become SPIRITUAL ADULTS and to "put away childish things" we will have to come to the realization that we must think of the other person instead of OURSELVES. (This is BULLSHIT AND LEADS TO HELL. ) 2 Peter chapter 1 says add to your faith virtue and to your virtue knowledge and to knowledge add godliness, etc, you are to climb a "spiritual ladder", and at the very TOP of that ladder, is CHARITY, meaning true genuine Christlike LOVE. (SIMPLE EASY AND LIGHT. UNTIL IT IS MIXED WITH OTHER TEACHINGS BESIDES WHAT CHRIST SAID. THEN IT BECOMES AN UNBEARABLE LOAD YET AGAIN. EVEN PETER IS A FAILURE. The BIBLE SAYS SO. ) 2 Peter chapter 1 also says this is becoming "partakers of the divine nature!" "Be ye perfect,, as your Heavenly Father is perfect".... you see? The DIVINE NATURE! It really means love those who may not necessarily love you back. (IT MEANS TO OBEY GOD AND NOT MEN. GOD sent Jesus to TEACH US WHAT TO DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IF WE WANTED TO PLEASE THE FATHER. THIS TEACHING AS CLAUDIA STATED LEADS DIRECTLY TO THE WORD DEPART IF YOU ARE NOT DOING THE WORKS JESUS SAID TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. To me..to mature in Christ is to grow and learn in Faith..Also to learn from other Christians..To read both sides, pray about it..To go with your heart felt and biblicle mind.. For some reason I am reminded again of the biblical story.. where the men brought the woman found in the act of committing adultery.. they took her from that act directly before JESUS. As a trick to HIM?? NO As a trick on her ?? perhaps Perhaps they had eyes for her and she turned them down.?? Doesn't matter. What matters is that Jesus didn't rant and rave. Accuse and scheme. Nope, if my memory serves me correctly... He just squatted down and began writing in the sand. No one knows WHAT HE wrote, but whatever it was all the accusers turned away!! Then when they were all gone.. I think HE forgave the woman and told her to go and sin no more. Did that make her perfect?? NO but forgiven even when she was caught in sin. That makes GOD'S love and forgiveness even more powerful. Because HE sees all our sins just as plainly and clearly as those men saw that woman's act of sin. It is amazingly wonderful how HE forgives us JUST as easily as HE forgave that woman. As well as the thief on the cross who only had to ask... Remember me in heaven. be blessed..

If parts of the bible are long and boring as you say...why add to the long and boring? Add some excitement to your life!!! ....and NOT in the form of curse words and labels of idiotness (is that a word? hahahaha) If you notice as well- I do indeed recognize the real "learners" in the group- and encourace them to STUDY JESUS INTENSELY and on a super personal level that may not have done yet. We BAPTIZE OUR MINDS IN JESUS and then go back for even MORE of Him by further BAPTISM IN MORE OF HIS WORDS AND DEEDS IN THE 4 Gsopels until we KNOW what we are supposed to know by heart... That does NOT MEAN MEMORIZATION- but simple SUPER FAMIALRITY with His stuff and the ABILITY TO DISCARD ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT MATCH HIM AS TAUGHT BY OTHERS. My mind isn't nearly as cluttered with JUNK as it was back when I was still a believer in RELIGION... God simply cleans house and IF WE LET HIM- Fills our mind with ONLY JESUS and the very stuff JESUS MEANT with His stuff. It's not what religion taught us... and THAT is why folks have so many problems with "faith"- we have been fed lies to believe in. Only JESUS ALONE- is truth. ONLY Jesus. ONLY. (hugzya and wishes ya a great morning ) Perfection... Possible? Yup... IF ya wanna TRY.
