This is stolen and used without permission- just because it deserves a reply or 10. And when you get there, watch out, because God can do exceedingly beyond what we ask or think. ----------------------------------------------- end quote "throne of Grace".... and springs to mind- Somewhere that "exceeding beyond" is found in perfection- Psalms 23. Either place- it's where God either comes to meet us- or we try to go meet Him... Why work so hard to get to the "throne of Grace" when He comes to us in the place of peace- in PS 23... easy and light- perfect- and we don't have to worry about falling before we get to the throne.  Say it again- Jesus taught us how that "exceedingly beyond" is recieved ... "my cup runeth over" kind of stuff... Who among us wants what JEsus said we can have- in our lives- if we follow only Him?..... Don't be shy- it's free from the Father- through The Son. Raise your hands... we all want God to show us the still waters... The abundant life Jesus promised- IF we follow Him........ destination Life- first stop- PS 23 to affirm His promises. Raise your hands- Jesus died so you could get there... "trust"... "obey"... "Follow me" "ABUNDANCE THAT WILL SCARE HELL OUT OF YOU". Jesus- He meant what He said. Raise your hands.... and FOLLOW HIM.  Perfection... Possible? Yup... IF ya wanna TRY. |

Nor will I ban you cuz doing that would be dishonest of me. Jesus set you FREEEEEEEE to speak- who am I to limit (or attempt to limit ) your freedom to speak where ever you choose? What are you actually learning with what you observe- and are SUPPOSED to read? It's not the message that puts you off- is it? Nope... it's how you percieve it's being delivered. So you read with BIAS and never GET THE MESSAGE... "preconcieved notions" that I purposely set up. Showing you something about how you read the bible... "preconcieved notions" about it- so you MISS IT'S TRUE MESSAGE. You cannot live the Christian life outside of the body Ah but I can. "work out YOUR OWN SALVATION IN FEAR AND TREMBLING"... Do you forget.... the vine/tree/etc is only a mind picture of something...that is a metaphore for something else. Yet the mind picture needs refined to include SEEDS- doesn't it? I thought you didn't believe in anything but the four Gospels? As soon as my incoherency disappears I will post more of what Christ taught about prayer. I'll also unhide my posts on my blog about Psalm 23, I'm sure you'll hate those as well but go read them anyways. And no, I wasn't mad ... just glad to get the opportunity to needle you a bit. And most everything He ever did or said- is found by reference- in the OT- just as we already knew. The Gospel ITSELF is taken directly from the OT- and all Jesus did with it was fine tune it, spruce it up a bit and test it out and then call 12 dudes with shady backgrounds to help Him live it (show by example) teach it (ears to hear ) and reveal it to those same 12 shady characters so they could also get the same benefits (and beter ones ) as He was getting- quite physically of course. The 4 Gosples is all I need. I can live without the OT- but it's soooooooo much better to still have it around. 4 FRIST- and then the rest. Jesus ONLY will lesd to any other TRUTH you need as a reference/explanation for what He alone was sent to teach about the OT. And I knew you weren't miffed... a woman doesn't stick her tongue out if she's REALLY miffed... stone cold silent stare maybe... but never seen one with her tongue hangin out. "wooof" Perfection... You as well as many others here do not recognize where Jesus was pointing as that "way" to life. And most everything He ever did or said- is found by reference- in the OT- just as we already knew. I have to agree with the Jesus and the OT thing ... although I don't believe that God would have finagled the Epistles and everything else to be included in the Holy Bible, by the word of His authority and inspiration to the amalgamaters of same, if it didn't really matter to us and our walk with Him. Nevertheless, your delivery seems to be improving so I'll chalk one up for the beagles on that one. They seem to bring out the softie side in so many these days. Well, I hate to be blunt and point out the obvious, but the NT wasn't invented yet when Christ walked this earth and conducted His ministry. So of course He wasn't teaching from the NT. Ya know what, Gordy bear, I'm beginning to think YOU just might be Jesus. We all say we want to be like Jesus and be such and such and what ever- and yet we iggy Jesus and follow EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE ELSE. I quit following that garbage PEOPLE INVENTED ABOUT JESUS and told God I DO NOT BELIEVE IN JESUS. He said- yeah. I know. solved my problem right there and then. DISHONESTY ABOUT FAITH IS A LIE BEFORE OUR GOD. He knows the difference between DEAD FAITH IN MEN'S DOCTRINE and absolute, PURE UNVAVERING FAITH IN HIS SON. Like I said- Jesus is MY SAVIOR. But He DID NOT SAY I COULD LIE TO GOD ABOUT FALSE FAITH IN MEN'S DOCRINE AND GET AWAY WITH IT. Bible says NO LIARS WILL EVER EVER EVER ENTER HEAVEN. might want to check your faith in DOCTRINE OF MEN- cuz it's killing you. Jesus is Lord. Obey- or MISS THE KINGDOM AND LIFE. I only said "go take your nap" cuz I saw on your blog that was in your "ideas for the day". The query about "are pete (or meow if you prefer ) a chriatian" is easy. You say you are. And I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO believe you. no judgment of you at all OR of your "confession" Problem is- "christian" implies KNOWING CHRIST AND FOLLOWING ONLY HIM. ALL OF HIS TEACHINGS- not just the ones you think you want to do. Sooooooooooo. Jesus says "DO the things I teach you to DOOOOOO. All of them. Don't skip over the ones you want to skip over. Don't tell me you CAN'T do them IF YOU NEVER TRIED TO DO IT MY WAY- THE WAY I TAUGHT YOU. And don't come back here if you won't FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER."Each of those things is FOUND IN HIS WORDS. Now. As CHRISTIANS in TODAYS WORLD- do we even know what He taught back then to DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO? If so... why aren't we DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOing it? Thanks! There are indeed many good women out there. She'll know whom she is-- and God will light her fire-- not me. I just LOVE to say that-- cuz HE's the one who thinks I "need one" if I really do. And I KNOW she's gunna surprize me totally how perfect "for me" He says she is. Thanks again!! we were not meant to be alone including yourself.. love this blog..keep it up..you can do it.
