 IMPORTANT ALERT:There is a fake site that comes up as being from Internet Explorer warning you about a possible attack on your computer. It is in itself the attack. If you check the wording, you will see some discrepancies. It offers to scan your computer for viruses.

It starts by talking about some unnamed virus (the first clue) and then misspells "crashes" (the second clue).

(This is the 2nd time I tried to post this, so if it comes up twice, I apologize)

AVG has a free antivirus program - you can do a search on it - be sure to ask for the free AVG when you do the search - I have it - it's a good one - pretty thorough - my brother was the one that told me about it.

 got hit with somethng similar . Antivirus2009 is a rogue trojan. It shut down all the sites I went to including this one that used passwords. I had to download a cleaner on my work computer and print out the instructions. This was vicisous.

Fortunately IE caught it before I blew it.
I wonder now that I think about it if IE isn't the reason my smilies don't go where they are supposed to on the blogs??? Hmmmm

 Was this a warning with hugs (((((warning)))) OK, seriously, THANKS!! Also any email with Bin Laden heading, do not open for it will wipe your hard drive clean right there. Ouch!!

 That is why Firefox is safer. You can ad the noscript add-on...that is just one of the pros.

I have been using it for 1 year now and am not going back to IE.

I think I might go back to Firefox as well. I had it on my old 'puter, but just haven't bothered to switch on my new one.
