I give Aussies loads of credit. Compliments too, remember!!!
I used "Australia" for two reasons. First because it was in the original quote, and two, because I wanted to get a rise out of Pen (MsWarriorThingy, another Aussie friend), cause she's always poking fun at me. She tries her best to keep me in line, but I'll let you in on a little secret , she just can't keep up to me. Don't tell her I said that though.
I WAS IMing a friend in Australia and right in the middle......my IM screen DID just went blank. So sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Many years ago, while in college, I found out I could pay my credit card, with my credit card. I knew that one day I would have to pay the piper.

Unlike both our governments, I could not simply print out more money, I had to finally pay off my bill.

I think the piper is calling. I think our greed has gotten us into the need for mortgage, and now we are having to rely on a secondary market.

When I say "we," I am not necessarily talking about our generation. My dad taught me that I didn't have to borrow money, except to satisfy my own greed and give in to my impatience. He proved it. He NEVER went into debt....for anything. My current lifestyle also proves he was right.

I better stop right now, lest I give in to temptation and get on a soap box.
