[SIZE 5[COLOR teal]]All of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord, and as the spirit of the Lord works us we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more. 2 cor 3:18 Have you ever felt overburdened, overworked, overwelmed and underpaid !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Family, friends, career commitments, functions, vacations seem to take up every waking moment. In my devotions this morning GOD told ELIJAH .....stop......... "The Lord said to Elijah, "Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook at a place east of where it enters at Jordan river. Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you. For I have commanded them to bring you food"............. WOW IS THAT NOT COOL................ so Elijah did as the Lord had told him and camped beside Kerith Brook the ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening and he drank from the brook..... HUH I NEED A DIET LIKE THIS !!!!!!! LOL 1 kings 17: 2-6 God told him to stop, so he stoppped , he completely unplugged. he pulled away from allllllllll people and stopped all activity. Has anyone tryed this in the middle of a busy summer. This coming week I get to STOP, rest recorporate,..... reflect.......... Elijah the prophet who had to constantly battle evil kings who were in leadership in Israel needed to rest. have you ever battled so intently for family, friends, jobs, and that special one........... in the spiritual relm,......................... your just exhausted!!!!!!!! and GOD by his marvoulous grace swooped down and gathered you up........ and makes you rest!!!!!!!!!!! He saw you praying..... fighting.....battleing the enemy when no-one else saw you. HE encouraged you when no -one else knew ....... He even prayed for you to carry on....... that is a mind blower !!!!!!!!!!! He makes me to lie down in green pastures so that I can be a mirror to reflect his glory !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW........ WHEN PEACE LIKE A RIVER ....... ...........ATTENDETH MY WAY, WHEN ......... ..........SORROW LIKE SEA BILLOWS ROLL........ ........WHATEVER MY LOT, THOU HAST TAUGHT....... .......ME TO SAY IT IS WELL, IT IS WELL WITH MY . ......SOUL IT IS WELL, IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.. |

. We need to learn to rest in Him. I went 4 states away twice going West and the same distance North. Time away. Ask and He will give you rest. Time where it is just you and Him, no one else around. Time to talk. . . Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Know? Yes? ? .
