To one of my best friends... He has a smile that lights up my heart even though I may never get the chance to see him face to face. He is so often kind and patient and giving of himself to encourage me and so many others. Always an inspiration without even really trying- pointing people towards God's Love.
He is very down to earth and always full of these great, inspirational writings and poetry and he uses it to express his love for God and nature, music and the world around him. You can tell by his reverence and his writings that he loves the Lord with all the strength in his heart, mind, body, soul and spirit.
He's as smart as a whip and and also has a great deal of common sense. He works hard to improve his mind with his studies and is just as into God's word and improving himself spiritually as well as mentally and physically so that he can live his best life possible to honor God. I know that God must smile and be proud of you as His child on a daily basis.
He has come to my rescue more than once when I was in danger of taking the comments of some not so nice blogger way too seriously and he never fails to do or say something that makes me laugh and helps me see the lighter side of things. I love your sense of humor and your compelling and quirky taste in music- it always makes me smile.
He helps, encourages and inspires me each day, to be more centered, positive and spiritually tuned in- makes me want to read and search the scriptures helps me to grow and flourish as a woman of God, one of my very best friends here. It's very rare in my life that I have found a friend like you. You are someone who seems to understand the things I have to say the way so few people ever do... you care- so many people just do not care.
He is already a strong spiritual leader in his own right and loves people through all sorts of things no matter what. Constantly lifting up the fallen and being a beacon of compassion, hope and God's love. I know you are a caring and humble man so please understand with all of my heart that none of this is meant to embarrass you... so please receive it with an open and thankful heart just as it is given.
He tells me I am strong and I am a princess and he's one of the few people I could ever truly believe when it comes to this sort of thing because I know he's kind and trustworthy man. He's one of the few people here who acknowledges my strengths and nurtures them, sees my weaknesses and refrains from criticizing.
His words often give me courage to help me overcome the obstacles in my life so that I can become the woman God needs me to be. He compliments me often and on all levels in so many ways... in a way "He thinks I'm pretty, He thinks I'm smart, He likes my nerve and he loves my heart" but would probably never admit it in so many words.
He encourages me to use my talents to help and encourage others to be compassionate and to glorify God. Knowing him encourages me to follow my dreams and passions and to continuously surrender the desires of my heart over to God He has shown me on a regular basis since I have known him that he loves and cares for me as a friend.
He also cares about many of the issues and things and the people that I care about. I couldn't let the rest of my life continue to go by without telling him so... you have touched my heart and my life. You have changed me as a person- it just wouldn't be right if I did not thank you and tell you so. I love you as a friend and I thank God for you each day!

So thank you... and my you also be blessed. Anything that I have done that is good, should reward- and be used to Glorify the Father. He is of course the Giver of all good things! I am nothing without him of course. I could never sing at all- until I become more devout. And sang for Him. I could never really write from the fullness of my heart until I became more devout...and more humble, and wrote for Him. I know that the very second that I lose that humility...and tenderness of heart for my brothers and sisters- these things will dry up and disappear. Like the wells in the desert of old. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ... seem kinda as old friends...a heart for them- is... as their wells were.
I think people tend to want to have G-d come down and make their lives better. This is not the way that I know Him to be. G-d is calling us to come to Him, so that we can make our lives better- by Him. I tried to relay this message a bit with my song about the Broken Crown...although the message was somewhat muddled I think. If we are coming to Him, we must become more like Him...rather than He like us. I don't want a G-d that's like us. He already came and proved He was not like us, and that His ways are not our ways. And His thoughts are not our thoughts. My ways are not His ways. My thoughts are not His thoughts. Here He is my G-d, I pray that there... He will be my "God" (Blessed is He)! So, whatever I do, or say that is Good and Pure- is not of my own doing. He should be Blessed. He is a Glorious and Loving G-d. He taught me to sing, to write, and to Love. He teaches me Wisdom through His Word. He teaches me to be a Warrior, a Prince, and Teacher. He too- makes YOU- all these things...as long as we continue to come to Him. The same promise that is given to me- is given to you. Do not worry to live your life by mens standards here on earth. Keep your feet on the ground but always have your head and heart in the heavens. The stress and contentions of this life are silly and fleeting! Look at the clouds tomorrow. See what funny characters you can make out of them...and watch them parade across the Sky! Will you see a big mean boogie man, or a silly bunny? Either way it skirts across the sky...at its will. This is "Time"...is it not? If you blink you'll miss it! A lifetime... is like this! "Fear not those who can slay the flesh, but He who can kill the flesh man and the soul." We serve an awesome G-d. The world will make itself all sorts of boogie men. But, be careful not to fall asleep in the middle of the story! We know the ending...He has the Victory. Watch! Don't worry...but watch. I know you said you are not convinced that these are the end times. But, watch. You might be surprised by what you see. If you listen hard enough you can hear...something. It's not in gas prices or even wars overseas. It's the same as was in Sodom and Egypt. Cries. What does the Bible say was the reason Sodom was destroyed? It was not what so many claim it to be! It's written elsewhere in the Books. It' s a strange thing... Inhospitality...to those two messenger spirits...just like the coming two witnesses... Yes, always keep a sense of humor about things. I know for certain He has a sense of humor! I've told you He's made me grin many times. Am I teaching works? No! MITZVAHS!! Lol! Good deeds. Mitzvahs- and see if He will not make you too, grin. We know faith without works is dead. All things will be revealed to those who seek Him. And having touched one person as you say, I have touched you- makes it worth it. Honestly. I must take my own advice, lifetime's here and gone, in the blink of an eye. What is a man to do?? You, and all my friends here- have blessed me. How awful it would be to have such a Love for Him- and then have NO ONE to share it with!!! A place without a Love for G-d is Sheol...Hell. As long as people such as yourself are here- this is not "a living Hell." But you keep listening, it's dark and there are many waters rushing...but like watchmen we'll wait for the dawn. Right? But "surely the end will not come until that man of Perdition is revealed."
Here's a Sky Psalm... Psalm 46 "God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah."
David was a shepherd, a singer, an instrument player, a writer, a poet, a king, and the one of the fiercest warriors of all time. He was what G-d made him to be. He sang, "Selah" to Our same G-d...
Selah Sky! Sing through the midst of it! sabrefire

This is all a part of my trying to get people to write blogs about their favorite bloggers to encourage people and let them know that they are loved and cared for by others.
I plan to write a few others and I am encouraging other folks here to do the same. I figured this would be a positive change of pace from the people who always want to go back and forth saying ugly things about another blogger... it certainly can't hurt!
Did I happen to mention this guy's a real goof-ball too? LoL... but an altogether lovable goofball and a pretty swell fellow! GBY -Sky

Yeah, I just hope he doesn't mind if he sees this. If it made him feel anyhting but good to read these things I would feel just terrible! That's why I didn't say his name.

I hope what I have to say here does not worry you in the least and leaves you with a smile on your lips and in your heart. I use the symbol of the Claddaugh here because it seems to fit perfectly- "love, loyalty and friendship"- who you are seems to embody all three. The world would be a far better place if more people were like you! You are probably too humble to really be able to accept that, but this is from my heart and I hope it will encourage you anyway- GBY! -Sky
