I don't usually get into doctrine all that much... I feel like around here enough people do that already.
I would however like to offer an opinion here and make a few observations. I know this is important to some people but I have never seen Sunday as the Sabbath. The Sabbath has always been Saturday as far as I can tell. It certainly has never changed within the Jewish faith.
I was taught that Christians worship on Sunday to show a distinction between the two faiths. I think if you are a Christian you should keep the sabbath in your heart every day of the week. We should see each day as a day to worship and commune with God and celebrate His Love in one way or another.
One of the reasons Christ came was to deliver us all from the snares, complications and the twisted madness that had been created through the law... even though they were and are God's chosen people the Jewish faith is filled with tons of rules and laws.
The Jewish people had become so entrapped in their own rules, commandments, laws and doctrines. God gave them 10 simple rules/commandments and over the centuries they had taken this and turned it into a huge complicated legalistic system.
There was just no way that we as humans could ever keep all of those rules. It just created too much chaos and too many complications and occasions to stumble and continuously fall into the snares of sin.
This is also why people who constantly want to split hairs over every little thing upset me so... because wether they see it or not- they are just creating chaos and trouble for others... but through Christ we have an escape!
Jesus died on the cross and shed his precious blood to give us freedom from all of this- not just for the forgiveness of sin and our salvation but also so that we could live in freedom from the laws, snares, and complications of sin... imagine living in total freedom!
Jesus brought a new Law, the Law of Love, to over-ride and simplify the mess that had been made of things. The ten commandments every single one of them fall under the Law of Love- If you truly keep this one commandment you can not break the other ten.
This is why Jesus put all of the emphasis on this... to Love one another and to Love God with all our heart, soul and every fiber of our beings... This is our escape- this is our Freedom!

Thanks! Hey I sent Mia an email, did she tell you? I posted a couple of things on Pauls latest blog bog with the hopes of helping to cool things off for you guys...
Anyway- I think I have the solution! You and Mia should just elope! Take off and go to Vegas! Ok, maybe it would mean getting married twice... but that would make everyone have to shut their yaps!!
LOL- I figured the situation could use a little levity about now. Anyway I know it's silly and I don't know what your actual wedding plans are but you do know I wish you the best!
What ever you guys do- don't give up and don't disappear! Take it easy and GBY- Sky
